I am a real aficionado. I had my first Woolly Pully back in 1977, aged 11, and have been wearing them ever since. In fact I have them in all of Outdoor Knitwear’s colours. My go-to one is the Royal Navy version.

Bought my first Woolly Pully today (early Black Friday sale). Can't wait for it to arrive. I hope it's not itchy though!

I bought my first one from Brigade Quartermasters. If that doesn't age me enough, I paid C.O.D. Wore it every winter for 6 or 7 years.

I have multiple versions and colors of the commercial ones. I use the ones with the pen pockets on the sleeves for my winter work wear. I use the ones without the pen pockets as more of an after work dress wear occasion. Here in the United states it's a chore finding these sweaters/jumpers in the non-tactical colors. I have ordered from the Outdoorknitwear site but shipping to the U.S. is freaking expensive. Lately I have found a site here in the United States that carries most of the models and colors. I have just put in another order for a field model ( the 1945 in OD) and a dress sweater (Patches, no pens, no epaulets in Rifle Green). I would love to find one of the military issued ones in my size here and add it to the collection.

Wasn't sure there would be one. Haven't got around to it. We'll see, might do an update soon
