Hi Max, so that means even though a PR renewal applicant has already achieved 730 days and the person leaves Canada for long long vacation, the application has doubt it can be rejected and his travel PRTD is not a guarantee too?

Hi Max, My sister’s Canadian PR card has expired and her husband is Canadian citizen. They are living in the United States since 2015 on H1 visa . But my sister went to India in 2018 for studies and she stayed there in India since 2018 till May 2022. During that time period , her husband was in the US doing his job on H1 visa. Can she apply to renew her PR card from US? Can she send paper application to Canada from US ? If she applies to renew her PR card , will that stay alone in India be counted towards residency obligations? Please respond Thanks

The PR card renewal process is generally designed so that it must be submitted when the person is inside of Canada.

my parents got PRTD with RC-1 stamp .there were out of country since 2017 July but they came back in sept 2022 in Canada. do we apply for PR card right away or should we wait 730 days

My husband is working in saudia present He landed in canada as a PR resident on feb 2021 he is planning to move to canada to live in november 2024 in which case he will be able to complete 1 year 365 days out of 730 days to keep the residency status his PR expires in 2025 My questions 1. Can he still live in canada with expired PR and complete his 730 days and than apply to renew his PR can it be renewed in this case 4. As i am his wife a canadian citizen housewife and i am living with him in saudia will these days of his living outside canada be counted🎉
