So that I can make these videos available, I need to state that you must take responsibility for your own well-being if you choose to tap along. While I'm confident that tapping along with this video can provide great benefits, I make no claims as to what, if any, benefits you will receive. While EFT has yielded impressive results in treating physical and psychological issues, not everyone will benefit in the same way. I am not a doctor, and the information presented here is not intended to replace appropriate treatment by a physician or mental health professional. EFT is still in the experimental stage and, while a growing number of PhD's and MD's are adopting it, we cannot claim that it is risk-free. I am unaware of anyone experiencing negative side effects from using these videos, but different people require different care, and depending on a number of variables, it is possible you could uncover deeper issues within the process that this video is not able to address. It is recommended that you consult a qualified health practitioner prior to using this technique.
That being said, I hope you will enjoy this video and find it beneficial, and that you will share it with others.
This is certainly not intended to be a comprehensive handling of the subject -- I can only cover so much in 5-10 minutes...! I'm also not working with you personally to address specific individual issues. Hopefully, though, it will help you address the issue enough that you can experience greater freedom to live the life you really desire and deserve. For further support, I encourage you to check out the other offerings available from myself and other EFT practitioners, including workshops and private sessions. For more information about tapping, as well as a ton of great resources to help you live your best life possible, please visit: www.tapwithbrad...
This is only my way of using the process, rather than what might be called official EFT.

Ok, so this may be a little too honest for some folks, but I got waaay more energy movement by substituting a not so nice “name/term” for the word “mom.” I tried being polite and using the more distant form of “my mother“ on the first go around, but not a lot shifted. Problem was, I hadn’t accepted how I REALLY feel about her right now after the recent revelation of yet one more very evil thing that she did to me, something that cost me a great deal on multiple levels. Changing the name phrase to suit her behavior appropriately helped a lot more. I even felt a relaxation response by the end! So if you, like me, had a sociopathic mother (diagnosed by professionals, not “just” me), try calling things by their right names and see if stuff shifts faster. Don’t worry - the Polite Police are NOT listening all the time, no matter what “she” might have told you!!

Thank you for this, I'm glad you had a separate one for both parents. I realized when we're young parents can seem larger than life and a lot of their thoughts and feelings and energies I have felt were trapped in me so far down I didn't know where my own thoughts begin. This helps to get rid of beliefs that I never had and just thought I had; they were only handed down, generation to generation. I feel I'm breaking the cycle and becoming my own person, little by little with each eft session:)

I was indoctrinated since birth to a religion that was never my own (Jehovah's witness) and for 23 years I served my mother. Breaking the link caused me so much turmoil, I would constantly be berated for everything that went wrong in my life to the point I actually started to believe I deserved this punishment for the rest of my life...it led me to 15 years of smoking as a coping mechanism. The news of a friend passing this year made me snap, and I stared to look for real therapy to get past this. I found this channel 3 days ago and I am in amazement of how good I feel, yet ...there was still the anger gnawing at me...and it was from my mother's abandonment of me....I tried a tapping for releasing anger and that was great and the next suggested video was this one. This session was EXACTLY what I needed, I'll be doing this every day now, I cannot believe I was drawn to this, I am so grateful that you exist and also that there are others that have overcome this pain and embraced a new life, thank you so much for this, I cannot thank you enough for your work. I wish you the absolute best wish and blessing for you and all connected to you, thank you again.

Today, it felt natural to say ‘these issues that Mum passed down, Mum’s pain , fear, judgement she passed down’ etc...A loving way to remove the judgement....hmm to remove the shame!!! I don’t have issues with WHO Mum is, but with what she innocently DID. Shame vs guilt! 👍🥰

I love your videos Brad. Your statement "go figure" just shows you are a man and not a woman. :-) I think even though men can have issues with mothers, it is more likely us, women, who suffer with overcritical mothers and painful relationships. But I am sure you have met many women in your practice who had "issues" with their mothers, often even when the mother is no longer alive. Very sad but the mother - daughter relationship can be very challenging, definitely for the older generations or let's say the middle aged and older. Myself included. :-) I wish all those women out there to break that cycle of unhealthy mother - daughter relationship. It takes just one of you in each family and the next generation can feel so much better. Lots of love to you all.

I have a mother who beat the living daylights out of me most my childhood and teenage years. She is a sociopath who I had to escape from with my dog to another country and she still hunted me down at my study and work places even though I cut off contact with her and she used the embassy and members of parliament to track me down. She can turn on the tears like a faucet and has told me my whole life that I am a waste and a burden. Tip of the iceberg. Your early comments and expressions are deeply condescending and clearly from someone who has no clue about the trauma that comes from domestic violence. Shame.

Unfortunately, no video I make is going to be right for every person, and my take on any subject is going to miss the mark for many people. Thank you so much for this. When I heard you say “go figure” I was sort of shocked because you are so blessed not to have had a mother that tried to destroy you. Mine is still trying at 91 and has made gains with family members who believe her 😢 But this is not new for me, she’s done it to all of my siblings too, for as long as we can remember. Having malignant narcissist parents is painful to say the least, but once you accept that painful reality, then life opens up to possibilities of greater fun, love and peace. Thank you for all of the help and kindness that you work hard to generate ❤

wow, i knew this was going to be a doozy, (i've been postponing this one out of fear of what it would bring up....) but i yawned twice before even moving on from the karate chip point, and yawned lots during!! i've had all kinds of physical releases when tapping, yawning, crying, nausea, gas..not a a lot usually.....but with THIS, the second time through this i was actually laughing hysterically through most of it. yowser! and the third time i was coughing congestion out of my lungs and laughing. the 4th time just yawning with a bit of coughing. the 5th time...no physical anything. crazy how wonderfully Tapping clears stuff!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH BRAD!!!!!

Yeah gas happens for me too. Burping too, and crying but afterwards not during.

I can't believe this. It's like you are me. I'm also getting lots of yawning, occasional coughing, some burping and gas, muscle spasms, and the rare bout of crying as physical releases. Started tapping about 2 weeks ago and at first I thought these physical releases were all in my head and that it had to be a coincidence. But man... seeing your comment perfectly describe everything I'm feeling has reassured me I'm on the right track. Sending you lots of blessings. It brought up a lot of stuff for me too. Hope you were able to overcome your mom related issues my friend.

@@KvngWolls oh. my. goodness. your comment here could not have come at a better time!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!! ***first, i must say...yeah, even after a good few years of EFT/tapping, when I see/feel "off-gassing" i'm still amazed about how that works. stuck trauma energy is being released! yay!!! (sometimes i've experience it feeling like it being sucked up out through my inner chest and out the skin, ..powerfully so....which freaked me out at first, so if that "exorcism-like" release happens...just know it's not uncommon either.

wow. This opened a door that I didn't know was even there. The phrase, I forgive myself first. I have the power to free myself." unlocked this deeper strength. It's incredible how powerful we are. Not forgiving myself for having mom issues was shown to me on the first go of this tapping.
