Hi Bery. My family will have flight via Istanbul, landing at 5.30pm Friday, and fly out the next day at 1.30pm. Where is the best location for hotel? We heard that actually shops close at 9.30pm and open at 10am? Is that correct? If you can help to advise how to make use of the transit time. 😊

Hello and great video...can you please help explain nightlife and the overall area in the EMAAR hotel area.. which area is it exactly in and is it a good place to stay since it's newly built? What is your opinion about EMAAR Area?
@BeryIstanbulTips2 жыл бұрын
It is just a complex with a shopping mall, nothing more. The area is residential and you won’t find anything there. I used to work just 5 min away from Emaar and know the area perfectly. Tbh I wouldn’t suggest staying there (as a tourist) since there’s nothing interesting to do, as I said, is just a residential area.
@SefaOralz5 ай бұрын
There some bars and places to dance in emaar on the top floor. But if you want more speed go ataşehir, kadıköy which is not far away from EMAAR. If you need crqzy nightlife y should cross the bridge go beyoğlu, taksim. If you want luxurious huge night clubs fo ortaköy or kuruçeşme where giant clubs are located.

Hola! Se supone que aún es “obligatorio” aún en las calles pero ya muchos no lo usan, ni siquiera las autoridades 😬 Solo en interiores o transporte público si se debe llevar.

good content indeed and it's cool to see people from all around the world when you go out. but as a local who lives in beşiktaş i also think heavy tourism already killed our lovely and precious taksim, and about to kill beşiktaş and kadıköy.

Hiii ❤️ Tomorrow I will travel to Istanbul for the first time and I am so excited. I remembered your amazing channel and today I will watch your videos, so I can learn some useful thing before my going.❤️ I have a question and I will be so thankful if you answer me and help me. How much does it cost the taxi in Istanbul? How to call taxi? Is it easier to asked in my hotel to call me a taxi or what you would you advise me to do? I will be so thankful to reply me ❤️🙏🏻
@BeryIstanbulTips2 жыл бұрын
Welcome to Istanbul! It depends where you are going to but just to put an example: from the airport to your hotel either on Taksim or Sultanahmet area, it shouldn’t be more than 350 TL. You can download to your mobile either uber (works only with yellow taxis) or bitaksi, but is kinda difficult now getting taxis from the apps because the drivers cancel the trip or just don’t accept it, but you can try and insist until one accepts. Other safe way would be through your hotel but never from the street and if you do so please be careful specially with the amount he will charge you for the trip plus pay attention to the amount of money you give him, if possible, carry small bills with you, avoid paying with 100’s 🙏

That's funny....I had the Opposite experience! - the Loveliest, and Nicest People I have ever encountered in my world travels! - A Taxi Driver who rushed me to a hospital after I was bit by a street dog, and STAYED with me there - making sure all my documents were in order, and I would be immediately treated! - and he stayed until I was released 2 hours later! Another man who saw that I had left my bag, with wallet in a mens' room at a Jazz club in Taksim - he chased me down a street 2 blocks until he found me , to return it! I had several such encounters with people there, and because of their kindness, and Spirit - I stayed for 5 months! You say you go there for "Business"? - Well... Business People SUCK - all-over the World!
