Istanbul was the first even international airport i have been too other than Mumbai. I had connecting flight from Mumbai to Dublin through Istanbul. I was too excited to see it first time. I had mixed experience as Airport was awesome, but staff was so rude.

All staff are specially trained to be polite. I recommend that you report the problem you are experiencing to an authorized person.

Ich war zweimal von Istanbul nach Arnavutköy, also zum Flughafen Istanbul, und es ist ein sehr großer und schöner internationaler Flughafen.

It is a nice airport but I liked the old one better as it was close to all the city attractions. Getting from the new airport to the city costs around $50 which is quite a bit.

Hi. We are flying from Croatia to Melbourne Australia next week and will transit through Istanbul. We will be there for 3 and a half hours. Do we need a visa to transit? Thank you.

Hello. Good Morning. For Transit don't need a Visa, you have 3 and half Hours is enough for transit. I wish you have a nice Trip. Make sure The Passport and Boarding Pass (Air Ticket ) With you. 👍

How about if you have just 1 hour til the next flight.from Danmark til kuala lumpur. Any have experience?

I would take a flight with longer connrction time. However rurkish airlines offers best connection from europe to KL. I flew to KL last month and 90% were western PAX

Birileri personeli kötülüyor..Bir kere Buraya Eğitimli İnsanlar alınıyor..Hepsi işini çok iyi biliyor..Hem burayı özel şirketler yönetiyor..Personelin niteliğine çok dikkat ederler..Adamlar! Buraya milyarlarca dolarlık yatırım yaptılar...Yani! Öyle bu işler kolay değil! Personel olarakta, bu Havaalanı Avrupanın birincisi durumunda🙂🌹.

@@cheikhseck6067I am sorry for your bad experience. I was in China in April. The passport police were not so polite. They had no smiling or welcoming attitude at all. What I mean is you may find rude people everywhere in the world. However, I found out later, Chinese people are actually very friendly. My bad image at the entrance was transformed into positive one. The same is for Turkish people.

Why the Gates D were twice and in different directions ? I was totally confused … plus it were too little time before boarding but too long distance to find the Gate … plus they changed a Gate and a distance till the screen were far away … I would not even go there to check … once to get up from a seat … than no seat available…. I could be easy late for my flight … but it was my daughter tracked my flight on- line being in Minsk and she told me that a gate was changed twice … Plus one Russian guy helped when it was impossible to find where they will give boarding passes to Belavia … as a result I really was running and it were somebody else Russian running on the same flight … he point me the guy that was ahead of us running … we followed him … After all I was dreaming about a shower or at least cold water …
