What I didn't quite understand is the thing you said about tapping out. So when you tap out at a station you get a refund and the trip doesn't cost you anything?!
@IstanbulHacks2 жыл бұрын
It does cost you, but it refunds you a small amount depending on how far you have travelled
@isj88272 жыл бұрын
@@IstanbulHacks ah I see :) but it's always something you get back?
@IstanbulHacks2 жыл бұрын
@@isj8827 yes unless you travel from the first stop till the last (which will take about 1.5 hours 😂)
@isj88272 жыл бұрын
Ah okay! But what is the purpose of this system of refunding a small amount? Why not just charge less when tapping in and no refunds. Are there many cities that refund for a trip like that?
@IstanbulHacks2 жыл бұрын
@@isj8827 because the metrobus line is very long. They calculate how far you travelled. It makes sense

Thanks! Brilliant video! Please make a detailed video of Taksim transportation (to and from Hagia Sofia). Which bus (number) should I take If I want to go to Hagia sofia from Taksim square?? Thanks.

@Blackpacker's Studio BD You don't need to use a bus. You can use the T1 tram line or walk. If you walk, you will enjoy it.

Hey brother, would you recommend staying in Atasehir, I know it is close to Kadikoy, my budget is 800-1200 USD per month but want to stay somewhere more local ideally with a masjid nearby, I plan on visiting Istanbul from Canada to work remotely in September so any advice on good place to stay that are less touristy but still relatively close either via metro or walking distance to major landmarks would be appreciated.
@IstanbulHacks3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t recommend it. The transportation is quite bad.

Hi bro..where should i go for leather goods and super grade watch
@IstanbulHacks3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about leather. If you are asking about a super grade fake, you can find them in the grand bazaar. They are not cheap tho :D

Thanks for this bro ...can you get on the 24 hour bus using cash ..istanbulkart isn't available anywhere at the moment. If cash payment service is available how much would a single journey cost for the bus?
@IstanbulHacks3 жыл бұрын
There’s no cash payment. You can get a 1 journey ticket from the machines instead of card

Thanks for this. Would you recommend using public transport for elder tourists or those who can't walk too far or on steep hills? I'm thinking of just using taxi for them everywhere but not too sure.
@IstanbulHacks3 жыл бұрын
Taxi would probably be better, but it all depends on where you want to go. Sometimes use public transportation sometimes taxi
