If you do the chicken broth at home, it will be definitely more tasty.. and healthy. I boil the chickens with bones and skins adding 1 whole onion, celery, parsley stems, 1 carrot, 1 potato, and some black pepper corns (or any preferred vegetables and spices). Once the chicken is completely cooked, strain the broth, separate the chicken meats and use them in any recipes. (I discard the vegetables, bones, and skins). You can keep the extra broth in the fridge for 7-10 days or in deep freeze for couple months😉.

Black pepper works for reducing the overly smell of chicken. The pilav is definitely not hot or spicy. Although, you may avoid or lessen the black pepper as your like, but I recommend using some for delicacy!😉
