As a native Texan living in 'Merica I had the good fortune of becoming friends with an Aussie while being stationed in West Germany in the mid 70's. His ability to use sarcasm to describe stupidity was astounding. I've since met a number of other Australians in my 70 years and they are just adept at the use of sarcasm. However, Mr. Cadogan takes it to dizzying heights and makes it a true art form. My hats off to you sir as you are in a class by yourself.

Give this vehicle yet another overstated ute to underground miners . Once the vehicle is past 6mths old front /rear suspension and brakes will need to be replaced every 3 months . The vehicle once stopped rusting due to no steel left to corrode at the 2-3 year mark is ready for SIMS scrapper . A giveaway is when the body mounts wear thru the body/chassis and the radiator is holding up the front panel work . REAL WORLD TESTING

we have a 3 year old d-max here in nz, its been pretty good but had issues with the after sale service. anyways went in for service at 5000km, 2nd one at 15000. we asked does should it need a wheel alignment and got told no. few weeks later we get a flat tyre. tyre shop tells up all 4 tyres are all seriously worn on the inside. he checked alignment and it was way off on all 4 wheels. isuzu told us " you must have hit a pot hole etc." well we sure as hell didnt hit 4! end result they wouldnt come to the party at all, back to tyre shop for an alignment and 4 new tyres. so that was near on $2k because factory alignment was useless.

Hello Johnna , if you asked every Australian where the Gibb River Road was 90% wouldn't know . The people in the Isuzu advertising department have thought someone else has looked through the brochure and just released it .I worked at a mine, underground. A dozen electricians , with about 15 men assisting , were about to move a transformer .So they were disconnecting the large 3,300 volt cable and a huge flash happened. It singed a lot of hair and put a couple of electricians in hospital with an instant sun tan .Not one of those electricians thought to turn the bloody power off .Each one thought that someone else had done it .I think the same thing has happened with the Isuzu mob .I remember a girl was travelling the Gibb River Road, and her car tyres were torn to shreads .This was on 60 minutes. She phoned emergency services and the woman who answered the call didn't believe her where she was, and refused to send help .There was a large hill near by , so she climbed that and rung her brother inlaw in Sydney .He was having his lunch at Circular quay .Luckily, the call went through to him and he phoned emergency services. The police drove in to get her and same thing happened to them and they were stuck also .They called in a helicopter to save them all .I don't know what happened to that call centre operator, at the very least she should have been sacked .What would that woman have done if that phone call hadn't reached her brother in law .We all love your work, John , very informative and entertaining..
