I visited port hope today with my 8 year old. It was a surprise to him. He became super excited when he suddenly saw all the locations at port hope . So cool.

It would have been really cool to see.They did leave it up for a bit after filming was done but it was in a neighborhood so I can see why they would take it down lol

@@battousaiblade Someone does own the roperty and let them build the set temporarily. the house in on a regular street so having a house like that wont look the most inviting lol, but yes someone could definitely buy and build an exact replica

I visited all the locations in this video in August, 2018. The mural was still on the wall next to the quality meats door. It was so cool to be at the filming locations!

Definitely was cool! Especially since some of the places kept the decorations. That door in the alley with the "quality meats sign and burn mark are still there from filming, yet it's actually a shoe store lol.

when I watched the film it was cool to see that they used Elora Quarry as the swimming hole. I used to go there all the time as a kid.

I just went to the lot where the house was built for the film, and it was pretty cool still to be n the spot where those iconic scenes happened, although I was talking to a local to make sure I was in the right spot cause the location is slot smaller in person then it seems on screen lol

Kerul Kamal Iused the oanasonic gh4 with the lumix 12-35 f2.8 lens. I now have the gh5 I use for everything. Absolutley love the camera!

it's an interesting town with an interesting history. Port hope, clear by its name, is or was one of the major ports that transported goods over the lake to new york state. there's also a cool purple house in port hope lol. check it out for sure!
