In hindsight, playing the second choice keeper after being on a streak of very tightly won games is a weird choice. The mid season slump is so unavoidable it's insane, but still that probably didn't help

I got unbeatable season as St. Pauli in 2033 with winning CL, div and cup, there is no slump - your team is probably not deep enough, or you dont abuse everything you can - I rest my players during international break so they miss games there, I do friendlies to put the on top of sharpness in winter break, by year 2033 I have world-class players on sub because I got free loan farm money (get 50 players every year from Brazil-Croatia-Serbia for free, loan and sell for profit around 1-3 mil, get free 100 mil every year), improve coaching to the max, use different tactics (no xG even if you have winstreak by 25 min - change tactic to more attacking/different or call Demand more). Rotate to get sharpness uptop, thats the key, avoid fatigue - otherwise they play like crap. Always tell them to win as favorites and dont get complacent.

@@langletprolet8378 it works if they have rotational piece or something. I dont know why either, my world-class swedish guy has the same problem, but other world-class players are not getting played if I do this, so I allow them to play only 1 game a week for nation

this season has major Man City 22/23 vibes with an early exit in a cup (the wrong cup but still) and a tie against Real where you destroy them at home and beat them after lots of previous heartbreak

Encourage is the match shout for when your players are slightly rubbish and the score is level or you are slightly behind. The team atmosphere was good. It was the equivalent of being 3-1 up. No wonder the squad got upset. You treated them as though their morale was "losing".

He treated them as if their morale was declining which it was, "I really want to ensure our heads don't drop, things haven't been going our way but we've got the ability in this team to change our fortunes" sounds like exactly the kind of thing you'd say to a team that's very talented but has just lost three in a row, been knocked out of one cup, close to elimination from another, and let their lead in the league slip. Even if it's not received positively, there's absolutely no need to get confrontational about alleged "criticism", he made it clear the team is capable and their form has been down to bad luck more than anything

Treat away cup games in FM 24 always as if you play Barcelona. Ive got strongest squad in the game by now, but still struggled against mid-table in cup. Beat Arsenal in CL Finals 8-1, but needed 120 min for some Köln. Away CL games same stuff - my world-class keeper is passing twice to nobody, doesnt have orange big games or anything, its just game forcing stupidity cause its AWAY. Home you would beat Real with CA 150 on avg no problem tho. Funny. I found cautious mentality actually working somehow with same strategy like even 4-2-4.

I kind of feel like Cautious this year doesn't work as it intends to? I absolutely dominated with 200 goals and 110 points, all by using a cautious tactic. Maybe my team is too good or something, cus did not feel like anything cautious about our play lol

@@langletprolet8378 after I switched to it with same strategy (was balanced), Real stopped any sort of attack, so I will try it next time when playing away as well.

ah, preston warned you about that complacency hump. also, does anyone know if z has talked about the problem where the gamma shits the bed whenever he resets his capture setup? the high contrast is a bit of an assault on the eyes. catch it change between the team selection and the cup final (3:05) but it happens fairly regularly

Saw the title and expected a dumpster fire. In reality Zealand lost 1 league game and a game in the FA Cup, but still beat Real in the CL, won the EFL Cup and went top of the league
