However 1000$ is too high to be considered bail or jail time at its crossing. Personally I’d think 150$ and below would fall under the same stipulations they have for the 1000$. But my guess for why the law was made this way is because the county jails can’t or won’t hold beyond their max capacity and they don’t want to spend money expanding it so they lowered the standard to dealing with criminals at the city expense
