@@alltheworldsastage. no back im the 80’s and 90’s it was such a better show.. it was edgey, controversial, more exciting, random, awesome characters, it was a like a circus.. you had hogan bleeding like crazy, the ref getting knocked out, then somebody taking a low blow, women diatracting someome, jimmy hart running around doing his comedy act, guys running in to cheat, crazy characters, i mean when i was a kid i really thought macho man , syhco sid, mick foley , Kane, vader were legitimately insane lunatics… then you had certain guys who had the crazy moves and athleticism. Yeah the steroids made it better. Today its just all bland, too much talking.. cm punk looks like he’s 60.. this dominik mysterio looks like a high school freshman, over produced. Over choreographed, lacks diversity, like half the stars are related to the rock… they might as well call it the johnson family show. No real story lines.. there’s no kayfab, when they do an interview outside of wwe they arent even in character, because they really dont have a character, they all look the same, talk the same, act the same and the new stars get used like kleenex, after a few years they are used and thrown away like trash and forgotten (partly because too many people want to be wwe stars now)… its bland and boring.. its like music now, it Lacks the artistic part of it.. its just mass produced product. They need real tag teams again and more title belts.. bring back cruiser weight title, bring in japanese and mexican stars and martial artists for some diversity,

Wrestling will never be as good as when Hogan was on top again. They openly expose the business now all the time. Back in the 80's and 90's wrestlers never exposed anything. It made for better stories and promos. I knew for the most part it was scripted and they didn't intentionally hurt each other but I remember seeing Steve Austin almost fight Mike Tyson and thinking this might be real.
@markv1274
@markv1274 26 күн бұрын
Vince McMahon Junior (he hates being called that, by the way) went before the court and exposed wrestling in the '80s. Vince went on numerous television shows as the head of the WWF in the '80s and '90s (thus telling everyone that he wasn't just an announcer). Even before that point, _decades_ earlier, people knew that wrestling was a show. I always knew that Austin's brawl with Tyson was a work. On what planet would Austin be allowed to antagonise Tyson without security immediately jumping in to prevent a scuffle? Never mind the fact that Tyson didn't flatten Austin with a single punch.

Strongly agree w/ you buff! It was hard to watch. He’s the goat, what he did for wrestling even Michael Cole said it when Hogan came out “if it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, we wouldn’t be here” He put wrestling on the map, and even had the greatest heel turn as no one saw that coming to lead WCW to beat wwe for 83 weeks straight! Might even be the most recognizable person in the world as obvious even at 70 this is viral. It’s all over the news, social media, it’s the most talked about thing from that show. And yes, he’s done some wrong, we all have. No one’s perfect as I believe we all deserve second chances, and he went to all different news and radio casts (different then what irrelevant Mark Henry said) and apologized, cried for his comments about his daughter’s bf which I definitely don’t condone. But at the end of the day for what he did, what he gave to this business, he deserves better as growing up watching him being a die hard Hulkamanic, that at one time he was bigger then life, it was exactly what you said “painful to watch”

I agree! Buff Bagwell has had many chances to redeem himself, I thought he'd finally turned the corner, so I checked out this new channel, but he's an emotionally crippled apologist who is stuck in 1997. Bagwell's past is all he has, he doesn't have the maturity to transform himself and move away from wrestling. Ergo, he views Hogan through rose-tined glasses and will forgive Hogan for anything, no matter how despicable, because if _il mito della persona_ (personality cult) that is Hulk Hogan perishes, then Buff perishes. Let's not forget the episode with Hulk's son Nick Bollea and John Graziano. Buff chooses to ignore this. Additionally, I'd have a few harsh words for this interviewer. Stop kissing Bagwell's arse with softball questions. If *I* were to interview Buff, I'd bring up the Nick Bollea incident and many other things. Let's see Buff excuse his way out of all the other things that Hogan has done and said.

Y'all are talking about him being booed, but not addressing the REAL underlying issue of WHY he was being booed. Alot of black wrestling fans (including me) are just tired of him and his racist bull$hit! I know Buff talks about him being hurt because the fans "hurt his feelings" by booing him, but Hogan hurt an entire race of people who used to believe in him and support him. So, we don't care about Hogan's feelings right now, he brought all this on himself.

Is that the reason or just part of the reason? Hogan has been an easy target for a while now. It's become popular to hate on him and all the internet fans are running with it. It's a snowball effect. I was a Hogan fan as well as a kid. If I knew all the stuff I know about him or other wrestlers I probably would of stopped watching. At this point it's like who cares but I do understand that a certain group of his fans/ former fans are disappointed. I would be too.

People bring up his racist remarks and other bad things he's done in the past but we ALL deserve a second chance to make things right. Also that quote from the Bible isn't even real because the earliest manuscripts of the New Testament don't have the story of the woman taken in adultery, which means it was probably added later by some random guy (many modern translations exclude the passage or add an asterisk because of that fact). The problem is that Hogan doesn't know when to GO AWAY. He is CONSTANTLY popping up EVERYWHERE to do promos and gimmicks for everything from beer to Netflix and his brand, not to mention politics now and podcasts, where he continues to fabricate stories and push false narratives. It's not even the fact that he's a Trump supporter.....Triple H, the McMahons, and Taker are all Trump supporters and wouldn't get even a quarter of the boos that Hogan got. They are far more low-key, and they realize what Hogan hasn't: their time is done, and they properly retired. Oh sure, once in a while Taker might come back and ride his motorcycle around the arena, but that's about it. And Triple H may promote a major wrestling event once or twice a year, but people expect that from him because he's part of the company....it's his job to do it. But Hogan hasn't gotten the clue. He is old and his brand is worn out. He needs to GO AWAY. Settle down and be low-key. But his personal life is such a misery that he constantly tries to escape it by letting his ego get the better of him, and this is the result.

I can not get over feeling this was intentional by the WWE.

Tbh cardinal rule for success is feed the hysteria....he could have owned that situation by playing the bad guy...shut up shut up, how dare you.... along the lines of that... a legit Hate is such a milestone for greatness...smh. own the gimmick that he sold out to trump ..damn creativity is the cornerstone of wrassling.

The only reason for the boos is because of Hulk’s political opinions. On top of that he was in California, the most liberal state in the US

Of, course, he's gonna get booed. It's LA and California is the most Liberal state in the US. I don't understand why this is such a shock. I saw people throwing beers at him in the 90's at the Forum when he was a good guy.

You could really tell that Jimmy Hart was flustered. I'm not surprised by it at all, and he shouldn't have been either. Trump might have won the election, but he only garnered a little over 50% of the vote, and well less than that in California. When you choose to jump in the middle of the most divisive subject in American culture, you immediately alienate a large portion of the fanbase, and he already lost a lot of people due to the sex tape. He might still get cheered in dark red areas, but his days of being the American hero are over with, and he has no one to blame but himself. I feel sorry for Jimmy Hart. He didn't deserve it.

I grew up watching Hogan he was pretty much everyone childhood favorite wrestler Even his WCW days in NWO he still was huge a big attraction but it's safe to say that he made too many mistakes too many big mistakes too many negative headlines especially after his wrestling career and sometimes people just don't forgive, It definitely was hard to watch and it was sad
