I had a bard-y D&D character (whom was a rock gnome) and on our first mission, i used vicious mockery. Now the mission was to stop bandits, who rode GRIFFINS, and stop them from destroying a caravan. When i used vicious mockery, i used it on one of the griffins, and said, in gnomish, (as if i was saying it in the third person) "I yell something in gnomish at the griffin insulting at the fact that it had a complicated parental relationship which explains why you are a mixture of an eagle and a lion." i rolled pretty low, so it didn't do much damage.
