I just saw it. It looks like CW is going to be a fun series. Mixing the sprites with voice acting gives it a visual novel vibe. That said, it’s difficult to make out what some characters are saying sometimes. I think giving it subtitles could help (KZbin’s autogenerated subtitles are often lacking). First; We DID domesticate bears. Brown bear cubs were raised as pets by the Vikings since pre history, and, bear trainsets across north Europe and Russia had domesticated bears to the point they could act as seeing eye dogs. Then, they made training bears to these purposes ILLEGAL, by animal rights activists. It's not even that they ussed ANY of the more " inhumane" techniques of pre history. They even left those out. It's LITERALLY that a " trained" bear, wouldn't survive in the wild, due to loosing there natural instincts for foraging and hunting. That's it. And, you wonder WHY people, even before they started shitting on Steve Irwin, people were mad at animal rights activists. : ( 2. Hang on; I had another post I wanted to mention in the video, but, I was listening while typing, and, I will have the " re watch" for it. Ahh, that was it; While the dm IS simply a player with extra responsibilities, that doesn't always meen, that, there a GOOD player. And, as that player runs the WHOLE FRICKEN WORLD, and, can't simply be delegated to a BAVKGROUND role, like other players, when that player is bad, you have but 1 option; Make your own fun. A. Dm wants to role for every social interaction, without judging ANY on rp ; If you rp before the die roll; make every statement that comes out of your mouth so rediculous, that, they have to give secret backstory and personality traits that are suddenly revealed, in order to explain HOW the roll passed. If you roll before the interaction, make all low / obviously failing rolls plot relevant, well crafted, logical rp, and, all high / seemingly passing rolls, seemingly completely irrelevant, dada'ist , god tear shit posts. B. If your dm doesn't allow a 19 to pass on a planned skill check, or, a 20 to pass on an unplanned skill check, under the statement " critical hits are only for combat" , that fine. They just gave you permission AND incentive, to kill everything you meet / see. As a gm, they are NOT allowed to use any creature, whose cr is more then 3 points above the party level. If they put in a creature that appears as such, it will and must ALWAYS contain a special template, which reduces difficulty. Thus, until level 5 , you main strategy consists of having uncanny dodge, gaining increased crit range weapons, killing anyone who doesn't subsurviently follow you, starting with hirelings and leadership, and, simply slautering everything in your path, for the XP, worse then any orc band. And, yes; everything has an XP value for defeating it, and, killing is an undeniable method of causing it to be " defeated". Your gm may try to argue that this renders your characters alignment as " evil". Simply bring up, that, to be evil, on must cause unnecessary suffering, not pertinent to accomplishing a goal. Since the only guaranteed victory condition in the world is killing, murdering as much as possible, as quickly and efficiently as possible, isn't evil by the rules of the game. It's neutral, since, it has a definitive effect, you are using the best tools at hand to accomplish that effect, and, you are being efficient at gaining that effect. This is a perfectly balanced argument, in this context. If the gm argues early on " it's not cannon to the world, your character doesn't know what xp and crits are" , simply kill your current character, and, use a character with the " another world" first party background, from wizards of the coast. Then, your free base the logic on pure math of crits and XP, as you wish. Once at level 5 , or, more pragmatically, at level 4 , your goal is to find a weapon, or, gain a spell; weakness, which removes immunity to critical hits, as, that's the SOONEST a gm, can include such creatures. You can even include a main goal for the backstory of the character, that, they find the world broken, due to only combat having a guaranteed chance of success, and, they want to use ultimate level 20 power, to change that. Given that could bring peace to the world in some fashion, that's even enough, in the context of DND, to be considered " good" , by most standards, since, " good" characters aren't penalized for murder, and, often chastised for trying to redeem foes or find diplomatic solutions, almost as if to point out " murder is the only sure fire solution" , as a WORLD RULE. Remember; a gm CAN include " levels of success" , which slowly give a bonus, that accumulates to a pass, for what you desire, if you keep rolling. A success doesn't mean you get what you want automatically, just that you get a step closer to it. And, if a gm doesn't like a scene or type of roleplay, they are ALWAYS allowed to " fade to black" , and, not to the scene, so long as the events of the scene, still remain part of the stories cannon. However, fully denying the rolls outright, without a " graduated level" of success rolls needed or possible, is outright PERMISSION, to begin acting as a pragmatic serial killer. C. Gm won't stop killing your characters loved ones " for the drama" , or, putting you into obtuse situations where YOUR character, ends up being the one to kill them? That's fine. Just take the cursed background, and, give your characters the cursed fetishes of necrophilia and incest from the boe. Remember; the gm can fade to black from any RP involving a character they control. But, a corpse is an object, not a character. If they don't stop after that, at least the others will stop showing up to the sessions, and, they'll have trouble finding a party to gm for. D. If the gm simply chooses to ignore your characters backstory, and, doesn't bring it up, that's fine. Simply assign back stories to THERE npc's, as dictated by YOUR character, and, refuse gm " head cannon" for the npc's. Do it firmly, deliberately, with belief, and frequently enough, and, they will forget THERE head cannon for the characters, and, go with the head cannon YOU assert, as, that will be the DOMINANT memory, of the character. E. If a gm tries to control YOUR character, or, force YOUR character into a scripted situation, just do the following; Note; for this, always carry the following; If the game is played in person, a knife. If the game is played online / through an app, like roll20, a screen recorder. If it's in person, then, simply resolve the screen with the other players as you and they see fit / find fun, ignoring the gm and moving the minis as you will. When the screen is resolved to the players liking, you may allow the gm to continue to the next screen. If they try to treat the player generated results as non cannon, the session simply ends early. If they treat it as cannon, the game goes on. If they try to prevent your plot discussion or movement of the miniatures/ dice, stab there hand, and, continue like nothing happened. Trying to force character out of your representative work is a form of gaslighting and emotional abuse.a defence of temporary insanity can easily be baised on that, and, there are more then a few psychological studies, to back up a large, physical, forceful result, to an accidental trigger of emotional abuse. As well; your character is considered YOUR creative work. Forcing your name, in a public setting, onto a piece of creative work, which has been modified away from your intentions or message, is considered defamation in the least, if not infringement on unique creative work. They control the setting and world. Your character can die, get rich, expierience trauma, find love, or any number of things in that world, up to the one who controls that world. However, YOU control your characters RESPONSE to that, and, attempted ACTIONS in that world, not them. That response MAY get them killed. However, making that response is YOUR choice to make. If the gm tries to say something to the effect of, for example " the soal doesn't wish to return" , when someone is using resurrection or raise dead on your character, that's not there call to make. It's yours. If on an online app, simply call a break, cut out there map / tokens from the video, discuss what happens with the other players, and, return with the RP logs, explaining " well, this is what happened while you were away". If they refuse to accept, simply report them for abusive / demeaning behavior, depending on what it's called in that particular app. .... Cont

Also, important note on the toxicity of lilies: they are even more toxic to dogs and cats that to humans, especially cats. A cat that rubs up against a lily and gets pollen on its fur can die if it ingests that pollen while grooming itself. If you have cats, don't bring lilies into your house.

May I recommend? Ladyhawke (1985), starring Matthew Broderick and Michelle Pfeffier. It’s really good, and the story is extremely simple and sincere, with not an insecure, cash-grabbing bone in its body. The only part that could be construed as “cash-grabbing” is the cast, and it’s more likely that Richard Donner was just appealing to the execs to get the film made in the first place.

I always write my d&d worlds with as much world building as I can fit because occasionally I will stumble across players who like me gets attached to the worlds I create no matter how small or insignificant they seemingly are. And I want to be able to when the final battles are over and the final goal is reached tell them: "If you wish to stay here longer then you may, there is so much more in this world for you to see and experience, if the rest of your party do not wish to keep travelling with you as they once did that is okay you may find new friends, create new adventures. Stay as long as you like for I built all of this for you." Because I myself know the pain of far too early having to let go of a story so very important to you that it becomes part of your core being and I would not wish that upon anyone.

15:04 Terraria on paper sounds very technical, while Terraria in practice is more intuitive to the point that it gets you to accept absolutely absurd concepts at face value. One minute you might be building a cottage for a friendly npc, the next you're throwing grenades, magic, and a small (but loyal and vicious) bird at a (piece) of an eldritch God while frantically dodging back and forth, In front of the cottage you just built. This is just the beginning of the game, and it escalates so sharply that by the end of the game you're repeatedly beating up that eldritch god for lunch money with a magical waffle iron. Ps: there are also bee grenades that explode into swarms of angry bees, a spell book that sprays "ichor" on your foes (lowering their defense), several live fish that can be caught with a fishing rod and used as tools (reaver shark as a pickaxe, sword fish, sawtooth shark as a chainsaw), and it is possible to make bouncy dynamite (the tag reads "this is a bad idea")

Sometimes people watch cartoons as a kid, enjoy those characters, maybe get crushes on them, decide to make an in-universe OC or else build their own universe with unique but similar characters, find that there are indeed other people like them, and group together. They enjoy being there, get involved in the artistic side, get really close with others in the community, join them on social media and in games, and even meet up in real life at dedicated conventions. Not to mention, they also dress up as their characters for those conventions. And then along comes *SOME ABSOLUTE CHUMP* who decides that for whatever reason, being associated with fellow people who developed into this fandom over time, and even the fandom itself, is worthy of a death sentence. What would you do in that situation? What can you do? How far would you go just to keep your people safe? How could someone be this cold? Why do the evils of the world get to run free while you’re forced to your knees. This is what my people face. Consider this.

so rewatching this i had a few thoughts. 1: adults who need to practice screaming in fear should first practice screaming in rage. The reason is that it's a lot easier to let out your volume when you're angry so it's easier to wear away the stigma of being loud with that, then when it comes time to scream in fear you're not as embarrassed to be loud as you have gotten use to being loud around these people, and can there for focus on tuning from rage, to fear. 2: As for curses. hm. 'The delusion you hold that I harbor ill will towards you is tiresome, i hope some day you realize just how little I care, but I do not think your ego would allow it.'
