Our last day in Puerto Natales, Chile. The town is quite pleasant. When we stopped here for a few hours on our way to El Calafate, Argentina, it was very wet and rainy. With the sun bearing down on us, this charming little town was very much alive.
We are here, the month before the busy season begins, so I can only imagine the crowds of adventurers visiting the area.
There are not many places to stay in Torres del Paine, with Puerto Natales being the closest town with an abundance of hotels and hostels. There are many more hostels than hotels, so keep that in mind when visiting.
If you have never experienced southern Patagonia, keep one thing in mind, most retailers shut down for a portion of the day.
