A cool thing about one piece is that, when you see a gag or effect, it’s real. The other characters see it too. So yeah, usopp really can run that fast when scared lmao. Also you’re the only guy in 2022 to say luffy has a small bounty 😂

IDk man, feel like thats just people overthinking One Piece. Like its not that complex, theres times were they have silly gags were Nami can hit Luffy and give him 10 bumps on his head, and there times were a he is smaked tho a wall or 3 but we know it had no effect on him as it was a serous moment. One Piece runs on its own logic, and its mostly the rule of cool, I personally do not think they would see the gags, I mean its easy to see when a certen thing has effect on the story or not. Its that suspend of disbelief, the characters also have big eyes and no noses, it give you nightmares if it was 3D but we accept it as we know what is implied by it, and at the same time it magnifies what would be easy to miss on real faces.

Some of the gag are real and some are not, much like (probably spoiler) Sanji's rage fire can actually burn stuff Franky can build something super fast like a bridge and people can actually walk on it. Nami could punch Sanji through the clouds when she's mad Sanji's nose bleed which seems like a joke, turn out to actually damage his health Luffy/Brook drink milk and their bones actually healed. And etc...😂

Its one of those patterns that's easy to pick up on fast. But the thing is, i do love my hero being so badass that you need to trap him under a mounten just to be able to pretend the bad guys stand a chance.
