The AMX-30 Super in War Thunder is a Premium French Tank. Today, I decided to activate ALL of my boosters in one shot and take it out to try and grind the AMX-40 for a video on a later date!

Nice video m8. I would like you to use ur Artystrike more should use ur arty strike more often, but at least ur aware of ur crew replacement. For example 5:58 after u spotted him you could've drop an Arty strike. Also at 7:46 after u you shot his engine thus making him a prime arty target.

@@kiryu5499 Actually it's not a coaxial, which make it a great AA mg actually. As you can elevate it way more than the main gun and surprise quite a lot of planes :)

@@Fraknoff It absolutely is coaxial, it simply has a disconnect that allows it further vertical travel than the main gun. I recommend looking up documentation since much of it is publicly available.

It is labeled co-axial because most of the time it is but it has the mechanical potential not to be.....mechanically...it can be NOT coaxial ? You can grip to the term. Still, mechanically, when both axis aren't aligned.....it's not coaxial. But it surely is in the general way of meaning.

used a 500% booster today. Immediately forgot I had it on and got abandoned factory. Was playing the tech tree M48A2 C (which I had just bought and was on filters, so I was still using APCR). got a few kills (4-5) was getting 13k per kill, a cap and maybe some assists and won the match for a whopping 230k SL. I shudder to think what a 900% booster on a 7-10 kill game with a premium vehicle would give you especially with a premium account.

If you close the game when you are at the loading screen before the match starts, you won't get crew locked and keep your boosters. But you will have to do it quickly as after some time in the loading screen the game will count you in the match.

Hey Odd!! I recently was playing the British crusader AA mk1 and realised it’s actually really potent at 3.3 with a 0.6 reload and 70mil of pen with AP belts and with its HE belts pretty much one shots all planes think it would make for a great video :) maybe paired with the hellcat?

There seems to be some documentation floating around that one tech tree doesn't have as strong equipment as suggested by Gaijin science team. For example it has been suggested that the flying tank actually isn't a flying tank, but can be brought down by 7.62x54R. Same seems to go for BMD-4.

activates all boosters. there are multiple ways this could go: #1 doesn’t see a single player the entire match and when you do see one he dies the second you look at him #2 you just get sniped by a random enemy tank before having done anything or #3 it’s #2 but with the added bonus of getting spawn camped from all directions for the entire rest of the battle.

Great stuff here Odd...this event is just ending up as pain for me. With 2 hours per day that I'm able to play I can't make the daily points totals that the event requires (I'm just not that good). I think that's by design as I get just short of the total needed and given that the Snail has engineered this game to be as frustrating as possible in order to squeeze as much money as possible from the players, this is par for the course. Lots of BS shots counted on by the BMP-2M, PUMA's, and T-80's that for some reason are able to spall my whole crew out from a mud-flap on my tank.

Hey Oddbawz, The AMX-40 is probably one of my favourite MBTs to play. It's mobility is absolutely superb, and that co-axial 20mm is incredibly helpful. Only problem I had with it was how painful it was to stock grind it, even with a premium account. As per usual, it has stock HEAT, and it only has one sabot shell (which is decent), which sits at tier 3, and the modification RP costs are absurdly high for a Rank 6 vehicle. Other than that, this thing is an absolute beast! Good luck with the stock grind once you get it, and may you have as many full downtiers as possible! What would also be nice would be a video on the stock grind, as I haven't seen many videos about stock grinding MBTs or just vehicles in general. Would be very entertaining as well as a great learning experience for those who have trouble with stock grinding with HEAT!

I kinda like the AMX-30S but the lack of lineup prevents me to use it, and NO i would not play it with a 9.7! That leaves the 8.3 tanks as (a questionable) option if I ever unlock all 5 (+3 8.0). This video is also a good example that the 40000 score is actually a lot to grind, and u have to do it over and over again for 3 weeks!

@@Sir.Swiggity if you really have problems with SL I can only recommend Germany 3.0 with the Pz III L and M and the StuH 42 G. I usually also put the Bf 109 F-2 and the Fw 190 A-1 in my lineup as fighters (if playing RB tho because the 190 is 3.7 in AB) It may take some time to get used to the HEAT shell and the fact that volumetric hits even worse than before but if you know where to shoot the 3 tanks become incredibly dangerous and you can even angle the Pz IIIs tho bot as much as the Tiger

i opened over 16 mil testing it out and comparing them to the aprils fool ones. They are not the same , they are much worse. SL earnings and boosters got significantly reduced , i never got over 50k silver from a box, SL boosters were super rare, a total of 20 overall dropped , 1 skin, 3 decorators (1 of which i had to contact support to get), got the IS-7 but never got it and support said i never got it according to their thing.

I opened 400 boxes so far and got 2 decal coupons, 2 more things which you cannot get as a coupon (and you get 1 mil SL if you had the thing already, I think it was lower level warbond shop vehicles), a T-34E coupon, and an FJ-4B VMF-232 (9.0 jet plane). The tons of boosters, orders and SL you get are kinda useless. But with 2 vehicles for 24 million SL, one of them tradable, I cannot really complain. I will probably dump another 30 mil or so, considering I still got 76 mil and from playing mostly rank 3-4 still gaining SL even without premium.

I surprisingly got one on my 14th box and went nuts with excitement. Immediately sold it and bought 7-8 equal value market vehicles to enjoy that are better overall. It's an overhyped but super expensive vehicle and in actual use it isn't that overpowered or anything which people who don't own one seem to think. I find people hyping the IS-7 are like german tiger players who don't angle thinking their tank is indestructible.

I think that there's a significant difference between how dark night games are on PC compared to Xbox, it might just be my tv not able to do darks very well but damn PC war thunder night games are almost pitch black compared to how well I can see in night maps on Xbox

He damaged an optic that doesn't affect my tank. It takes 3 seconds to cancel a repair so if someone pushed me while I was repairing and I couldn't move then that would be not good. If my tank still works fine, there's no need to do it. If I was safe, I'd have repaired.
