One thing I like about these 4 doors is that there very cheap and If building a half drag car half street car it's nice to be able to get a track legal rollbar and be able to get passengers in the back easily for cruzin on the street

Shit box I just bought a 74 Nova 4 door. All original and Very clean and solid, 56,000 documented miles. I couldnt afford a 2 door. So ya know! Lol Im sure your right. Eventually the 4 doors will climb in price, I was shocked to see the value of mine in mint condition.

I still have my ‘71 4-door sedan Nova that I bought from the original owner in the late 90’s. Everyone liked riding with me because the car was a classic, and no one fought over being up front by the passenger door. I hated riding in the back of my buddies ‘68 GTO because I felt trapped, I had to wait for one of the idiots up front to get the hell out (I suffer from claustrophobia). I have a family now, and even though mine is an all original survivor car (never wreaked either) I’d like to do a resto-mod with an LS2, A/C (I live in AZ), hide the rear handles, and tint the back windows like a limo. It’ll fake people out at first, they’ll think it’s a coupe. 😆

Well there's one 4dr 68 in Texas that has for sure been blessed. I love my Chevy II Nova. Will pamper it to the extreme and never get rid of it!

Eh, the only homely 4dr Novas are the '65 and '73-4, the faux-convertible top on the '65 is uglier than the post sedans' original bubble window and the '73-4's blobby curved rear door window isn't an improvement over what these '68-72s had. Either one copied already-superceded bigger cars (the '62-4 Impala Sport Coupe and '68-72 Chevelle 4 door post). '75-79 the 4 door is the best looking with its' Hofmeister kink.

4 doors work fine for bracket racers. Usually cheaper to buy, you also have more map pockets and cubby holes for log books, shoe polish, lunch and water,etc. One of the most successful bracket cars NJ Englishtown Races at Park was a blue 4 door Chevy 2 with a nearly stock smallblock with a powerglide. Remember, consistently trumps speed in this kind of racing.

Roland Anderson they are way more efficient than a air to air. Don't work as well on a street car but for a drag car with ice water you can get iats below ambient which you'll never get with a air to air

Michael Russell it has a cage now and runs 8s but it was more fun slower without the cage. Very incognito. Plus read the sticker on the dash. No airbags we die like real men
