Thx Scott. It's interesting to me that even those questioning the absence of free will are just as much determined by the Placer than those of us who have been gifted with the knowledge of the absoluteness of God They will say something on the order of "ok, if God calls all the shots, I'll just put in on cruise control". That of course won't last very long since we all live in the relative and that train of thought will lead to very detrimental occurrences for that individual.

The way I see it is this, God is like the master chess player and we are like his students. Even though we move our pieces freely, because of his advanced knowledge, he will push us around the board inevitably leading us into a checkmate position. God works “ALL” things in accordance with the plan of his will and we know that God wills for “ALL” to be saved. That should be enough to end all arguments against God's saving of “ALL”. Most, who are blessed to understand this most profound truth are very aware of their need to repent and eradicate sin in their lives. Paul didn't say that those who “PRACTISE” such things will not inherit the kingdom of God for nothing! Great insights and talk as always Scott! Peace.

Thank you Scott for dedicating yourself to the message of God's sovereignty and sharing your Christ given vision of God's plan to be All in all. Lately, I have had a couple of thoughts regarding Christ Jesus our Lord. One, I certainly believe scripture supports His preexistence, and I believe it is key to the reconciliation of the wicked entities in heavenly places. They have to respect His sacrifice on the cross. He gave up the power they understand better than we do as humans on earth. Secondly, Christ Jesus our Lord already demonstrated His subjection to God our Father when He obeyed God's will in Gethsemane and trusted God to resurrect Him from the tomb after He died for our sins. It should be added that Christ Jesus' own sufferings brought Him greater joy as the Firstborn of the new creation. No one can accuse Jesus that He doesn't understand suffering. When Christ Jesus turns the kingdom over to His God and Father, it will only confirm the existing fact that Christ Jesus our Lord is lovingly subject to God already.

God doesn't play dice, hoping for the best. He wrote ALL of History. I've always been a believer, but A LOT of things didn't make sense to me about the things I was learning about God from mainstream "christianity" (From catholic to protestant and everything in between). Like the "fact" that someone could be happy in Heaven knowing that people are burning in hell forever??? I can't even immagine being happy knowing that just 1 person would be in hell forever. I wouldn't even wish that on the worst person that ever lived. And isn't God more loving than I am? it's funny, cause one day not to long ago, I told God that His will be done, but prayed that He would save the whole of humanity...Then I started finding out about teachers like you. Jesus died to save EVERYONE and God is in control!

actually..... this is going to sound a bit weird, but i studied quantum physics in university when i was young, so Jesus doesn't mind referencing it.... anyway, one time i was talking about this subject with Jesus, fatalism, etc, and 'what does it matter what i do if You have it written down in Your book?' and Jesus answered me and said 'retrocausality'... you can google dat if you want, but it literally means that God goes back and rewrites the book! and THAT'S how we have a semblance of 'free will'... even though in one timeline, what with cause and effect, there is zero free will... but with retrocausality, you can change something, from prayer or whatever, and with God and quantum theory on your side, it goes back in time so that it was always that way... you can look up the second half of the double slit experiment to see what that means... anyway, what you said about 'once it's written down it can't be changed'... i wanted to address that. good vid, dude x

I must disagree with your hypothesis of God using retrocausality and going back to "rewrites the book". In my opinion, this makes God a sinner because He missed the mark the first time and had to go back and fix it. This of course cannot be true. It sounds like an attempt to hang on to human free will by using science. No offense meant but I cannot subscribe to this.

Though quantum physics is very interesting, I wouldn't trust that something came from the real Jesus if it contradicts scripture. According to scripture, God does not change His mind, nor does He go back and change what is written because of human prayer. Human prayer is a part of what God is doing, not something that changes what He is doing. God is eternal and therefore His plans are present in the past, present, and future. Scripture says He tabernacles in the future so God operates and His plans operate outside of the time that we experience. Therefore, retrocausality would not apply to God or His plan...in my opinion. Grace and peace.

Our lives are all predetermined “like a movie script.“ Very interesting! Sometimes Hollywood releases more than one version of a movie for special test releases in front of test audiences. Did God only write ONE script for the history of the world? Or are there “alternative universe” scripts as well? Of course, they all have the same glorious happy ending. Jesus said that if the miracles that were done in Capernaum and two other cities had been done in Sodom, Sodom would have repented, and still would have existed “to this day“ (as of 2000 years ago). How could Jesus know this if there were no alternative universe? (what if Abraham had interceded for the wicked right after he did so for the righteous?) Another example is given re: Tyre and Sidon. Also, Paul said “if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” This is not to suggest that we have a “free will.” God is still the writer, Director, and producer of the infinite number of “versions“ of the script.

Though I'm not convinced of 'alternative universes,' I find your comment very interesting. I remember when I committed a great sin years ago and lost my career and livlihood. I lost everything I worked for by my own stupid behavior. I wanted so bad to believe in an 'alternate universe' in which I could live out the life that I wanted so badly. I looked for proof of this everywhere and could not be convinced. I never looked at the scripture you presented in your comment. Very interesting but I think Jesus and Paul where just making a point and not factoring in another universe. But, anything is possible with our infinite God. One thing is for sure, whatever His plan is....it is greater than what we can possibly imagine. Grace and peace, brother.

First off Scott, I wish to thank you for your kind and prompt response. Re: your statement: “I lost everything I worked for by my own stupid behavior.” In an alternative universe, you could instead be bragging “I won everything I worked for by my own smart behavior.“ It matters not which universe prevails, whether by “your own stupid behavior“ in this universe, or by “your own smart behavior“ in an alternative universe, they are both supervised by the sovereign will of God. He takes the credit for all the good things we do to keep us from boasting, AND he takes the blame for all the bad things we do to keep us from lamenting. I’m preaching this just as much to myself as I am to you and to anybody else who reads this. For I know I do my share of bragging and lamenting. Perhaps better we should say “I lost everything I’ve worked for by the will of God“, or “I won everything I’ve worked for, by the will of God.“ depending upon which universe we’re living in. (though we should be careful to not say this offhandedly in gist with false humility) What I’m really getting at is not so much pushing the “alternative universe” thing, but to instead publicly acknowledge that even those of us in the body of Christ still harbor an unconscious belief in “our own free will.” It’s THAT insidious. The proof is in our bragging of our successes, and lamenting our failures, and idolizing others with fawning worship or condemning others with a “holier than thou attitude,” as if we have our own will independent of God.

@@thekingstable4740 Are you confusing God's sovereignty with Calvinism? Paul says that God gives to all life breath and ALL (Acts 17:25-26). Is that Calvinism? God works all according to His will (Ephesians 1:11), God hardens hearts (Rom 9:18). Again, I think you would understand if you would answer my question instead of coming up with sarcastic examples. Scripture says that God hardened Pharoah's heart...Scripture also says that Pharoah hardened his own heart. Both are true. God ultimately planned the end from the beginning as Isaiah states and wrote each day of our lives before one of them came to be (psalm 139:16)...not calvinism...scripture. God planned Pharoah to harden His heart and then worked out pharaoh's life circumstances and inmost being so that he would harden his own heart when the time came. Its like grace. 2 Timothy 1: 9-11 says that God saves us and gives us this grace BEFORE TIMES EONION, before we are even born. So, God chooses and then forms our inmost being and circumstances of our lives to make a faith decision for Him in real time. If God gave us this grace before we were born, then how can we not believe? You simply don't understand that In God, we live, and move, and are. We can give to God nothing that He has not first given to us. To answer your question...yes, God planned for you to write this since before you were born. He is eternal and you cannot surprise Him. God just works out your heart and life circumstances so that you choose to do exactly as He planned, to follow christian myths and mistake God's sovereignty by putting it in the box of Calvinism that makes you comfortable. Free gracer's? Nobody is promoting sin. In fact, Paul makes this very statement twice in the same letter that this grace should not make you sin but make you walk worthily. Since grace abounds, should we be sinning? Paul answers with an emphatic, No! He would only answer this question if Grace is what it is...the overcoming of all sin by Christ Jesus. Paul says that they behaved themselves in the world because of grace. We walk worthily because of grace. The minute people like you twist scripture, add James who's message was to Israel and to the circumcision, and claim that sin has not been done away with and 'YOU' overcoming sin is a part of salvation...then you deny that Jesus did away with sin. We walk worthily because we are saved, not in order to be saved. Everything we do is important and everything we do, however, is driven by grace. So, the term 'free-gracer' actually just shows that you have no idea what grace is nor how it works. Grace, of course its free, is what drives good behavior. It does not produce sin. Since you are saying that overcoming sin is not a part of grace then you must believe that overcoming sin is from you, therefore you would actually be denying Christ's completed work for sin. Anyone that claims that I promote sin does not understand that grace is the way sin is done away with...Grace and peace to you.

I am sinless and receive the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ's faith and Jesus Christ's completed work (Romans 3:21-23). Period. You believe that you are righteous by 'your work' of flesh. That Christ needs YOU to complete His work of eradicating sin by YOUR WORK of not sinning. You deny Christ's work and substitute your own, which is why you use the term 'free-gracer' because you hate that Christ accomplished it all and doesn't need you. Your unbelief in Christ is demonstrated by your substitution of 'your works' for the accomplished work of Christ. It is you that denies Christ and the power of grace that causes us to walk worthily. Good luck to you.

Some research of mine on the words "Mispah" and "Tabor" of Hos5:1 (CLV translates the meanings of the names rather than the words of Hosea) brought me to the Vision of the Transfiguration of Christ. The judgment upon the "house of the king" is because of the snare they've become to "the watch" in their concealing of why Jesus was transformed before his three disciples. I've heard much speculation as to why Jesus was transformed before his disciples. The truth of the matter is that there is no reason given in the immediate context. Many Trinitarians teach this event as Jesus presenting himself in his pre-incarnate state. Myself, on the other hand, look to the declaration of Christ in the previous chapter for a clue as to the reason... Matthew 16:27-28 Rotherham(i) 27 For the Son of Man is destined to be coming, in the glory of his Father, with his messengers,--and, then, will he give back unto each one, according to his practice. 28 Verily, I say unto you--There are some of those, here standing, who, indeed, shall in nowise taste of death, until they see the Son of Man, coming in his kingdom. I am perceiving what actually went down at Tabor was a vision of the 2nd coming of Christ. This is why Moses and Elijah were present. Those to be reigning with Christ shall be as both priests of Moses and prophets of God immortalized by the worm that does not die and the fire which is not quenched.
