The owner of the makeup worked for a department store. They throw out all the returns and some stores use to let the employees have it. Over years big amounts can be accumulated. I know I use to be an employee. Had bins full of it.

I have 2sisters who wear full makeup every day, and 2 sisters who never wear it, whereas I only wore it if I was going to work or somewhere special. Now I don't have a clue where my makeup bag is though its probably in the loft and well out of date. I wouldn't like to say who owned the unit, but that they didn't seem short of cash. I'm glad you will make your money back and then some Jeremy, you and Christian make me laugh and I agree with you that gloves are not helpful when you want to open things which is why I am glad I don't have to wear them. So when I saw all that makeup and then more and more, I was thinking maybe the woman could not help herself, and was maybe swiping it from the stores she went into. But once I saw the huge bottle of stay in place concealer, and foundation it just clicked. This woman could have been or is still a Desairologist.... "Desairology is the state certification practice of caring for hair and nails of decedents in a funeral home by Desairologists, who are cosmetologists or barber stylists. ... A person must be licensed-as a cosmetologist, funeral director, or embalmer-to perform cosmetic services on deceased persons." and this, "Funeral cosmetology - also known as desairology - is when a specially licensed person prepares a decedent for funeral and burial services. A mortuary cosmetologist will generally alter a person's hair, face, and even nails so that the person is appropriate for viewing." If not then the woman or cross dresser as some have suggested, just could have had a compulsion to own as much makeup as could be gotten by any one person. The last guess...Whom ever was kleptomaniac. As for the purses, she or he had good taste. I love designer purses, and designer clothes, but have the bank account of the working poor! However I do own a bunch of Vera Bradly purses, little totes that match, book bags and so on. I do have a collection of other designer bags, purses, totes. As for designer clothing, yep I have a lot of them too. My secret? .........GOODWILL AND FLEA MARKETS! Of course online shopping too!

The slot car stuff is not that expensive as I used to race those style slot cars, the most expensive items were the controllers with what appeared to be voltage control. The car bodies are about ten dollars, chassis are fifteen.
