I'm 62. I couldn't afford to replace my car a few years ago. I walk and use the bus. I also got myself a tricycle. Pedal powered, not electric. It allows me to carry loads more easily than when I had a bicycle. I'm not limited to bus schedules or walking alone in the dark. The bonus is it keeps me fit without needing the gym and takes less effort than walking.

This week definitely feels like the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a new one. This past year (since the eclipses last October) has been extremely challenging with regards to money, and we've had to figure out how to balance paying off debt, being broke, and making very little money while trying to follow our dreams and passions. My partner and I have been creating a short film for the past 6 months (our intro video was released on the last eclipse, April 8) and we're so close to being done - I think we'll finish it this week. Once we release this video, people will better understand us and our point of view, which we have been building since 2020. It definitely feels like an auspicious time for some big shifts.
