I'm European and I see many Russians on the internet that want freedom, but I also see many who want to crush the West seeing us all like enemies. I've always thought it's better to find new friends than to look for enemies and that it's better not to blame groups. I hope for the sake of our planet and for the sake of young people that we can find ways to put our differences aside and that we can find further ways to cooperate for a better future.

Putin isn’t beyond poisoning Russian defectors in their adopted country, unfortunately. It happened here in the UK. I know exactly how you feel. I thought Navalny was crazy to go back. But quite a few Russians in history have ignored such warnings. They are not likely to listen to us. Kara-Murza was asked whether the ever thought of suicide while in solitary. He said, no, he would not do that because of his Christian faith. For the same reason, I'm pretty sure that he is unafraid of being murdered or executed.

As an ex-Russian citizen and a MAGA today I can tell you with a 100% certainty that we have over 1500 political prisoners here in USA who were prosecuted for questioning election integrity, including but not limited to a seventy two years old grandmother who was quietly praying in the Capitol for everyone wellbeing, who walked in the building because the police officer opened the door for her, and she did not burn or damaged anything while she was walking and praying on January 6 2021. And because I do have some friends who still lives in Russia and Ukraine by the way, I know that both of those countries combined have less numbers of political prisoners than corrupt criminal Biden administration has for three and a half years of his senile incoherent presidency

Why do he and his wife speak more or with a British accent? I'm sure that they consider Russia their home. I know that he was released in a deal brokered by the US in partnership with Europeans, but let's respect these people for what they are, Russian liberals in the best sense. And her grandparents were forced to learn Russian and abandoned the Ukrainian language which is why Russians can't understand Ukraine but ukrainians can understand Russians. Ukraine has not had its sovereignty for long and only 2 years ago were they able to have their own Orthodoxy. Navalny'd courage bled into the people of Russia. 'Fortunate favor the brave.' Who says? On what authority is your statement based? Don't get me wrong; I think the Ukrainina offensive toward Kursk is a brilliant maneuver. But there is no such thing as 'fortune'. God is Sovereign over human history. He is a righteous Judge. Our hope should be based on confidence in His character, not confidence in human character, in 'good luck', 'karma', etc. Let us rid ourselves of heathen superstition. Btw Vladimir Kara-Murza is a Christian. I heard him say so directly. That is how he can afford to be brave. He knows that even physical death cannot separate him from God, because Jesus has paved the way for human beings to come into God's presence by removing the burden of our sin. It's great to stand on principle, so long as the principle is true and reliable. Re: Harris/Walz, I do find their hardline position on abortion deeply disturbing, but Trump's ideas on foreign policy are also deeply disturbing. Not only does Trump admire Putin and approve Xi Jinping's cultural genocide of the Uyghurs, but he has a high opinion of the world's most insane dictator-----Kim Jong-un of North Korea. The irony is that Trump is the most pro-Communist US president in history, except for FDR, who probably didn't know any better because the extent of Soviet criminality had not yet been revealed.

From the UK - I am so pleased Mr Kara-Murza is home and safe (and the other hostages) I really do not know how Mrs Kara-Murza carried on each and every day she must be so strong, I realize she had to stay strong for her children and she has my utmost respect, thank goodness President Biden did not give up and he kept on negotiating your release. Stay strong, Putin will get brought down sooner rather than later he is a bully and a thug. 💙

Thank God for the rescue of this man and more than a dozen others. I saw the whole interview, his face is familiar from previous interviews, and the first thing I noticed was how gaunt he looked after his terrible ordeal. I remember his remarks about the psychological torture of a year spent in solitary confdinement. He was asked whether he had ever contemplated suicide, and he answered that he did not because of his Christian faith. He remarked on the hypocrisy of Putin's regime, how it pretends to stand for 'family values' but would not allow a prisoner like him to attend church services, which certainly could have been done in a prison environment. It doesn't require any distinction of character to be a liberal in the West. Sadly, seliberalism and self-indulgence have become synonymous for many. It is no longer a case of what one can do for one's country, but of insisting on one's own rights whether these are genuine or invented. Not so in today's Russia. To be a Russian liberal, a liberal in the historic sense who wants to see autocracy and dictatorship replaced with representative government and rule of law, may require sacrificing one's comfort, one's freedom, and one's body for the cause. Kara-Murza and his family will not stop doing dangerous work. May God protect them.
