You actually don’t need to do this TEFL test like the one in Goethe institute. All you need is take a course online or so from any school and then you will get a certificate. With this you can go to the foreigner office and that’s it. También soy mexicana y eso hice. Muchas personas mal interpretan esos test. El Goethe es solo para entrar a universidades, maestrías, ausbildung o situaciones MUCHO más formales.

They never tries to tell me I didn't speak German when I got my residence card. But I already had a B1 certificate when I first applied for one, and C1 when I renewed it.

Queridos Joss y Jannik, no sé si han empezado a hacer las averiguaciones correctas sobre la maldita burocracia y los tests de idiomas y la vaina. Pero Joss está absolutamente obligada a tener como mínimo el certificado B1 de alemán y a hacer el test Leben in Deutschland o posteriormente Einbürgerungstest. Después de los 3 anios de casada ella ya puede aplicar a la ciudadanía alemana y con la nueva ley que entra en vigencia este verano, no tiene que perder la mexicana x ello. En caso de no querer nacionalizarse puede aplicar a la residencia permanente en Alemania o a la residencia permanente europea, pero para estas dos tambíen tiene que tener el B1 y si se muda fuera de la EU o Alemania pierde esas residencias después de un tiempo (medio corto) y tiene que empezar el trámite otra vez desde cero con la visa de casada de 3 anios.... Por eso la nacionalidad alemana es mejor así se acaba para siempre el maldito problema de estar cada vez renovando las residencias (Se los digo x experiencia!!) LG aus Deutschland!! Amo sus videos!
