May I tell you about my insane research into what the admirals represent, the missing moons or twin planets of the one piece worlds, red line containing an ocean and all the red named characters being linked to the secrets. The admirals and 5 elders are a huge hint to an event that may have made the one piece world from all the moons or twin planets

As for laughtales location, I think vegapunk gave a crazy hint. As they talk to Lilith, on egghead the crew come to a wall. They pass through said wall but after they do, usopp turns around to try to put his hand through it only to discover it's solid. Lilith and the giant punching girl say " things aren't always what they seem, reality may not be what you always think". I believe technology of this nature is being used to hide laughtale.

The pirate kingdom being a real thing is a really interesting theory. it would also work with the whole thing that blackbeard is doing right now with trying to make Hachinosu a recognized kingdom by the world government.
@UnexpectedWonder

What Rocks likely tried to pull as well, what Joy Boy accomplished, sorta what Linlin and Kaido were after, somewhat what Boa Hancock has goin' on, and what Sir Crocodile and Hawkeyes mentioned about tryin' to start up. Even Buggy, Doflamingo, and Gecko Moriah have attempted their own versions of it. Luffy, Roger, Shanks, and Newgate seem to be the outliers.

Blackbeard's plan to make Hachinosu a recognized kingdom is just step one. It's the foot in the door for his Impel Down plan 2.0. If he's a recognized king, he's allowed in the Reverie. If he's allowed in the Reverie, the Empty Throne is within arm's reach. If he can take the Empty Throne and hold it, he can be king of everything.

I think the name of the Ancient Kingdom is All Blue. This name would imply that four Blues weren't separate. Alternatively, I think it might be either underground kingdom or lunar kingdom which would serve as a passage between Laugh Tale and Mary Geoise so there would be no backtracking through half of Grand Line for Straw Hats. Underground passage or space travel would be more interesting than the same thing again.

I prefer the idea that D. stands for Don: Which is the onomatopoeia (word meant to represent a sound effect) that is used in nearly every big panel. Then, there's Tom from Water 7 who had associations to both Roger and Pluton whose catchphrase was, "Do it with a, 'Don!'" This is a Japanese expression that means to carry out your will resolutely, which fits the foundational core themes of One Piece to the T. The anime adapts "Don!!" into the short drum sound effect which I like to think is the intention of Oda with the onomatopoeia. Drums are obviously an important tool for symbolism in the show repeatedly, especially so with the, "Drums of Liberation," concept surrounding our central protagonist. Furthermore, Bandai has even incorporated Don into the One Piece card game as the ENTIRE core resource mechanic, which I feel could indicate a higher level of importance than just an onomatopoeia and a dead character's catchphrase.

Joyboy here's a new one for you. Lili was Uranus. The missing sword is not the Nefertari. One of the other sovereign had the op op fruit and used the eternal surgery on Lili but also the personality swap on Lili. This explains Lili not returning and reveals the treasure (Uranus) and how to steal it. It also provides an answer to how Doffy would use the fruit to obtain the treasure (because being immortal makes no sense).

If I recall correctly, the white lead sickness from laws backstory was gained through processing material and then passed through genetics becoming more and more lethal as the family line progressed. It seems to me like the perfect tool to intentionally erase a specific family lineage in a way that seems natural or accidental.

I believe the Ancient Kingdom's actual name is the Kingdom of the Dead and also the Will of D is the Will of the Dead. There are so many things connected to bones and skulls and also people's spirit and will living on after death in the form of devilfruits and other elements like the Jolly Roger and Luffy always wanted to meet a living skeleton (Bink's sake song also ends with the mention of skull and bones). Both Luffy and Roger were laughing at the very brink of death and this is what make Joyboy so special and the secret to his power. Joyboy together with the One Piece treasure would be able to harness the power of Dead Souls very similar to nightmare Luffy.

the "water" in Law's name is read as "wo-te-ru" in japanese, which can be romanized as "water" and also as "war tale", similar to how we thought Laughtale was Raftel for a while (ra-fu-te-ru). law mentions the D is a secret name but "water" is a taboo... well of course if you have the tale of the war (void century war, most likely) in your name, your family/clan probably carries the entire story through history, and talking about it is taboo, as you covered. keep in mind this doesn't disqualify the possibility that the kingdom was named Water, if anything the biggest amount of area you can have for your kingdom is a kingdom that spans the entire waters of the planet, rather than land. if anything, this may just add to Oda's resume of amazing wordplay

I agree with you on this... The name of the ancient kingdom must be culturally relevant i mean to convey something people must associate it with something else they already know and that is stil relevant and by now that something must have been mentionend within the story like certain words being used or places being mentioned or even people and other names... Like a pop culture reference of our time ... Within the story there must be something we glossed over without thinking much about it... Something so common it completely flew over our heads... That everybody in the one piece world knows something everday people there know...maybe even kids...knowledge that survived until now

Theory: Wano Was a Test. If this is already out their somewhere, my apologies. It occurred to me that what if Wano was a test, that's why one of the Ancient Weapons is their, it could shape the land or control the sea and the 3rd weapon has the other power. In concert with the power to control Sea Kings that would make you the most powerful King/Nation in the world. Maybe that's why the One Piece World is the way it is. The Red Line is like a Giant Version of the Walls around Wano. Reverse mountain is the mechanism to control where the water goes, that's why Water Seven and the Sea Kings patrol and live in the Calm Belt to prevent people from moving around the world too easily and are the ultimate enforcers in a flooded world. Enies Lobby could also be a control mechanism, The Arc could have been how everyone survived the initial flood, The One Piece could be a Map of the world as 1 Hole Piece, not sectioned up to be easily controlled. I know it's not a well constructed theory but I think it has merit and Someone like JoyBoy could take it and run with it. Again if this all hasn't been explored already, which it probably has.

Ok. Random thought that I had in the middle of the video... Following your logic, if we want the name of the ancient kingdom to convey that it was a kingdom of pirates to the people within the One Piece world immediately upon hearing the name i throw in: BINKS! The song "BINKS SAKE" is widespread and known in all of the world and its known to be a pirates song. Singing the song and teaching it to future generations ensures that the name of the ancient kingdom is never forgotten even though people don´t know the meaning behind it in present day anymore. I believe it also fits with the lyrics of the song to think of Binks as a location rather than a person (which is what i assumed until now).

@@JoyBoyTheories I can definitely see the connection with Water 7. The other name "capital of Water" also fits well. I think there's more to it, because Water 7 would be renamed or destroyed by this time, if only "water" was the key word. Maybe the city wasn't originally flooded, the same way as Venice that we believe was exactly what inspired the creation of Water 7. What, if actual water was used to cover not only the city, but also the truth. Therefore "the capital of Water" became "the capital of water". Still I believe there should be something else. "Water.. something", maybe a clever wordplay in Japanese giving us an obvious name that would shock everyone. Also "Water 7" feels like a name someone similar to Franky or Vegapunk would use for their creation and it also hints the actual name of the kingdom might be a bit different. They use the name or part of the name, sometimes add a word and almost always a number.

Wow, it's so interesting that I have never realized how similar Alubarna and Water Seven are structured. Both of these cities are built on these round plateaus with these very large stairs on all sides. I could totally see these two cities actually being a very distinct model of a ship from the void century, it's straight-up something a person like Vegapunk could have designed. Also interesting that Water Seven and Alabasta both have their themes centered around water, so I do think this theory is very interesting for sure.

I don’t know but I feel like Ancient Kingdom was not a pirates island but A Greek kind of Society where they elect their Leader - and the leader is called joyboy. It also justifies why all ancient weapons are named after Greek gods. Ancient Greek civilisations was democratic more free and have free speech as well as theatre art and musics. So it make perfect sense What Ancient kingdom was like . I think the reason why 20 kings goes against it maybe they realised that ancient kingdom was following falls gods just like catholic Romans had plundered the Greeks . The similarities- Vatican - marijoes European kings but Pop rule all over them - here we have im Sama . During Christian period scientists were burned every ones who talk knowledge was sentenced or burned alive . Similarly wg or Im Sama destroyed Ohara and people who knowledge of ancient kingdom. Myself.. I'd say it's Atlantis. Considering Oda likes using IRL mythologies and history for inspiration. Now, with that in mind, I think whatever was written in Laugh Tale has something to do with planetary alignment. If Roger was 20yrs too early, it must have something to do with a celestial event that only occurs at a certain time.
@deaconstjohn4842
@deaconstjohn4842 Жыл бұрын
Roger was 20 yrs early because he wasn't Joyboy, I think. He had the power to conquer the seas but he wasn't the one prophesied to do so, that it would then lead to the liberation of the world etc. etc.. Wrong man at the wrong time, basically.
@travisgames6608
@travisgames6608 Жыл бұрын
@@deaconstjohn4842 that's not necessarily the case. According to Zunisha and the Gorosei, "Joyboy" has the "Nika-Nika" DF. Roger was never going to be "Joyboy". I think the hint at it being a celestial event lies in the panels at Ohara, depicting the different celestial bodies around the OP planet. Other hints as well, how Every is on the moon. How we know there are space pirates. How Oden worded his conversation with Toki that "what she's waiting for won't occur for another X amount of years." Not "who", "what". If it was a revolution or "Joyboy", he could have said that. He didn't. Which means there's an "event", that isn't a war; however, could lead to it or was the reason for it. Other clues being the Celestial Dragons and their space suits, the Lunarians hailing from the "moon?", and the ancient ruins on the moon. A lot of hints at space. It might be nothing, yet I'm 97% certain that's what it could be.

This theory brings up an interesting thought for me. It’s pretty much guaranteed that Blackbeard knows more about the world than most people so literally every single thing he does needs to be inspected very closely. With this idea that the ancient kingdom was an island or kingdom of pirates makes his desire to make Hachinosu a government-recognized state. BUT, if Blackbeard knows as much about the void century as we’re led to believe and if this is all true, he would know that this won’t work because the government wouldn’t want another kingdom of pirates. Not to mention, what would he even do after that? What does being recognized by the world government do for him and his crew? His whole plan is so intricate and complicated that I have no idea what is going on. But there HAS to be a genuine connection between what he’s trying to do at Hachinosu and the ancient kingdom
@viscinium
@viscinium Жыл бұрын
The one thing I take issue with in your theories is the idea of the ancient kingdom being ruled by a pirate king in Joyboy or a similar figure. To me, it goes against the very thing the title of "King of the Pirates" truly means. I think Joyboy, much like Luffy or Roger, wasn't a king in the traditional sense, but may have been interpreted as such by his enemies. I just don't see a figure like Joyboy goíng around "enforcing the law of the water", because that goes against everything we know.

this also ties into the red line and Mariejois, as the line is made of multiple islands strung together (however they were moved to form the red line. Perhaps more moving islands existed at one point thus the need for something like a log pose?) and Mariejois itself is located above fishman island, "floating" above the waves.

Iceberg's floating island dream gives more merit to the "continent pulling" idea. I think lost technology enabled floating islands. If Water7 is the 7th iteration of a drowning city then diving down should reveal void century secrets. I think it's why CP9 was really there. I'd bet Wano is a collection of such islands and if Pluton is in Wano, I'd bet it's one of the Islands. I wonder what Onigashima was called before it was renamed.

While Rocks was mentioned only briefly, I just gotta say I always thought Rocks being erased from history was something as simple as the Celestial Dragons feeling both threatened and embarrassed by the whole thing. I mean, like, - Rocks Pirates so brazenly and openly attacking them would've shown the world how the Celestial Dragons are, in fact, vulnerable.Knowledge like that could inspire others.. perhaps some... Revolutionary ideals... - The fact that they needed someone like Roger (a pirate) to save their asses the way they did would've been very bad and weird PR and publicity. Like wait.. not ALL pirates are bad? HWELL So, like, erasing that from history and trying to minimize anyone ever knowing about it makes sense.

My only real problem is that if "Water" is this instant death name that would just have the World Government immediately come for your head, then why would they permit a whole island to call itself "Water 7"? I feel like that would be even worse than an individual, because it's much closer to what this hypothetical Water Kingdom was.
@JoyBoyTheories
@JoyBoyTheories Жыл бұрын
Well, I purposefully excluded this because it ties into other headcanon and becomes complicated to explain Long story short I think Joy Boy created the WG before his death, because he was afraid of who would become king after him, and had 100 years(giant lifespan) to understand the danger of pirates. WG main mission is to control pirates until Joy Boy returns with a better solution. So while things needed to be "void centuried" to protect the world from pirates, I dont think Joy Boy could destroy his own allied nations. The deaths of "water" came much later after the void century, so he wasn't killing his crew or friends. I believe IM and Joy Boy hoped Water 7 would sink on its own, maybe they sabotaged it in some way. But he couldn't annhilate them.

Now I think Imu and Law share the "Water" name. What if Joyboy and Imu were lovers and had kids and Law is a decedent of them, which is why he has the D. and Water names

I'm also starting to lean towards the ancient kingdom being a collection of like Wano, Alabasta, Skypia, Zoe, etc and right when they got defeated, either they split themselves up using oars or kumas fruit??(you think Kumas fruit can move a whole island?😮) or the WG split them up. But I think Kuma splitting the Straw Hats up at Sabaody was foreshadowing what happened to the ancient kingdom. They had to abort and meet in the future when the time is right

What if joyboy wasn't a pirate , but a hero? ( thus ancient Kingdom was ruled by the hero/followed the hero) It shows contrast between the times ( jb's and luffy's) where being the most free and freeing others makes you a hero, but now it makes you a pirate, hero vs pirate idea has been in the story for a while now.

What if the speaking of the kingdoms name is in a "He Who Must Not Be Named" situation. We seen what Emu could do to an island, so if anyone spoke the name Emu would know and delete the person along with the location.

Another explanation for the name of water 7 could simply be that this is the 7th layer of the island created since the void century.

My biggest question about the pirate kingdom, is why would pirates even exist? The World Government lables people acting against their order as pirates. If the World Government wasn't in charge then technically there would be no pirates

My thought is that before void century and after void century, there is a "government". Lunarians were gods, then celestrial dragons are gods. So it is from these long spans of rule that pirates develop a name and identity, such that when they take over during the void century, they still call themselves pirates.

I've actually thought a lot about this recently with Vegapunk's impending revelation about the so-called "truth of the world." Most people seem to think that Vegapunk's message will finish what Clover started, revealing the name of the ancient kingdom to the world, but (as I've covered in my own discussions of the last few chapters) I actually don't think this will be the case. The thing most people seem to be forgetting is that Clover's speech wasn't being heard by the world, only the rest of the scholars of Ohara (who undoubtedly already knew the conclusions he had drawn), the Gorosei (via the denden mushi call), and the Marines and Cipher Pol agents present for the buster call. This, the reason Clover's death was ordered wasn't to keep the name of the ancient kingdom hidden from the PUBLIC, but rather to keep it hidden from the World Government's own people. If the name of the ancient kingdom were revealed to the general public, even with the story of the shady shenaniganry of the founders of the World Government, I don't think it would have much impact. People want to believe that those in authority over them are just and good, so even if they learned some shady stuff about the founding of the World Government, the majority of the people would write it off with excuses like, "But that happened 800 years ago! All of those people are long gone! The people in charge now would NEVER do anything like that!" Remember that the general public knows nothing about Nerona Im or the possibility that the Gorosei might have been around ever since the Void Century. If Vegapunk's message is really going to cause such an uproar, then it won't be about things that happened 800 years ago that people can dismiss in their misguided attempts to delude themselves that their present leaders are good; it has to be RECENT events and atrocities committed by the very leaders who are currently in power. It has to be something that will incriminate the current rulers directly. The ancient kingdom may be MENTIONED, but only tangentially as the story of Ohara is told, as well as Vegapunk's own death being ordered because he continued the research. I think the majority of the message will consist of the abominations and atrocities that Vegapunk was forced to commit at the behest of the World Government, culminating in the very reason he insisted on making it a video transmission: playing the most damning parts of Kuma's memories. Remember, Vegapunk said he had developed a way to observe the memories without absorbing the memory bubble, so the idea that he also devised a means to record and transmit those memories is not much of a stretch. I think that he will show the public roughly the same thing we saw from the Kuma flashback (only it would ACTUALLY be from Kuma's perspective); just enough for the people to connect on an emotional level and really feel it, just as we readers did over the course of the flashback. Hearing about shady goings on of people who have been dead for almost 800 years won't sway many people, but seeing the horrors that their current rulers inflicted upon this gentle soul who wanted nothing more than to live a simple life with the people he loved will move them on such a deep, visceral level that they would be so outraged as to be incapable of staying quiet. That's how I see it. As for your thoughts on the ancient kingdom having some connection to Law's name, I admit that the whole thing with Water 7 has always struck me as odd, but I'm still not convinced that it would be something that obvious.

The final island is probably Eden. Its funny because it's the last thing you would think because its the first place mentioned in human history. The D could mean several things: descendant, defender, it could symbolize a half moon, doom, dome, idk. Garp is Rocks, he betrayed his crew at god valley, hes the only marine with the left eye scar, he birthed the two most world shattering people that hate the world government as does he.

I think your theory is fitting and could be true but i do want to point out that while it's true the governement doesn't cover up everything to the same degree they still seem to have an habit of doing so pretty regularly: Flavence, luffy's accomplishement but also any prisoner in impel down level 6. Though it does sound for those they only kinda want people to forget over time but aren't adamant they do so now. But they have a clear pattern to erase any information that makes them look weak or incompetent so it could be they are so intent on erasing the void century not necessarily because of crimes they would have commited(though they most likely did) but also because the knowledge of an ennemy that gave them a lot of trouble is shameful in itself

I already figured out the name of ancient kingdom. It’s why Roger laughed and the same thing as a complete front to the celestial dragons. Hint-the kingdom is named after its founder. Bonus: Luffy is the same Joyboy from the past. That’s why Oda has only shown him older. We’ve already seen his youth. But he didn’t establish the ancient kingdom. It all ties to what the red line used to be.
