I didn’t even realize it was past midnight until he said “You can’t sleep” and now I have to restore my duolingo streak over the course of 10 annoying restorative lessons because they made it so you can’t get a streak freeze unless you do multiple lessons in a row. You can go an entire month without getting one now I love that.

You know what? I came here for entertainment, but somehow it really hit me. It made me feel emotional and hopeful at the same time. Like someone out there actually cared about me? And my mental health and well-being? I know it wasn’t for me specifically, but to think an individual was doing it for the good of others, and it could possibly be me since I could be considered in the audience of others, I chose to feel appreciation in this.
