I remember when Madagascar 2 was in cinema, i got a bunch of my friends to come over for quite possibly one of the best boys night outs of my life, and we went to watch this movie, and i quite proudly, with no hesitation, put four £20 notes on the counter, and said to the cashier "Eleven grown adult men for Madagascar please" Did the same thing a few years later, as if it was some sort of tradition.

The beginning, the first arc of this movie made me worried that this is not a movie about the circus (I watched this movie sooo many years ago I forgot if it is even the last one of the series) and the Circus Arc is my absolutely favorite of all the things that happened in this whole series. This was so refreshing to see, the conclusion that they don't need to stay in Africa or go back to the zoo, that their true calling for life is exactly in this circus, all their personalities fit perfectly to this place and all their unique skillsets reach their full potential here, I loved all the new characters from the circus, from the silly seal to the Alex' love interest to the smallest of other animals, all of them had their own purpose and mini achievements, I loved the Tiger's mini arc about fixing the old trauma, I love the absolutely ridiculous French police villain... The only a bit weaker part I would say was the very beginning but I get they had to make them somehow leave Africa... Seriously, 95% of the movie is just 10/10 for me. Seeing the characters just discovering their passions and finding their true home puts a genuine smile on my face ❤

They really went all out with this one. I can personally say this is definitely one of my favourite movies. In this franchise and even generally. When I first watched it, i hardly stop laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. And when they performed the firework circus acts i was so hyped and excited. This also brought so much nostalgic to me as I watched it with my friends on a movie night when I lived in a dorm during my highschool years. So everytime I watch this, I remember back to those times 😂❤

I saw this in the theaters so many times when it came out. 13 times in fact if I remember right, I know it was double digits. And the circus performance with Firework playing was definitely one of the highlights. The part where Alex and Gia jump off from the platform high up and then just free fall down always gives me the best kind of chills, and watching it in 3D on the big screen it was like I could feel the drop in my stomach, it was incredible. I love all three of these movies but I think this one might be my favorite.

This is my favourite movie of the trilogy. It does not have a deep plot or big character development but it is just SO much fun! I feel like the animators and writers and everybody working on it just had an absolute BLAST with this movie. Watching it in 3D in theaters was just so amazing and special at the time. With this one they really just went all in, abandoned all realism and logic and I really enjoy that. A lot of movies - even animated movies - tend to care to much about making things "realistic", so I really love that Madagascar 3 just went all in on crazy hijinks and absurdity. This movie is just filled with creative, positive energy and therefore it makes me happy every time I watch it. :)

Actually I heard that in the past a fourth part of the Madagascar series was announced and it was scheduled to be released in 2018, but after one of the companies, DreamWorks, restructured the studio, where DreamWorks could only release two films per year, it was removed from the schedule indefinitely, and the producers told him that it was too early to decide on a fourth part, in addition to the weak performance of the movie Penguins of Madagascar at the box office, despite the fact that it received positive reviews from critics (I think the fourth part was supposed to be called Living in California, I think I heard this news from foreign sources) and I heard that it was announced again and will be released in 2026, so please confirm this information, please

What I love about this trilogy is that it really captures that realization that sometimes you have to get out of your comfort zone and push yourself to find out how special you are and to find your one true home.
