I was hoping you’d react to this movie!! I feel like because it’s so odd and comedic, no one really appreciates the relationship between Flint and Tim, and how they’re both reclusive to others in different ways, Flint’s isolation is more obvious because he’s eccentric but in the film we’ve never really seen anyone have a relationship or friendship with Tim, or really even converse with him or notice him either, so it’s so nice to see him finally connect with his son

Just going leave my little suggestion that you should watch the Fantastic Mr. Fox here. (If you haven't seen it already) Really such a brilliant movie by Wes Anderson. It's really fun and silly, but more in an eccentric way, I feel. Rather than goofy. I just love movies that acknowledges and showcases how people (and foxes i guess) are all just a little rediculous. But at the same time the story has such intimate messages that really makes it special. Also Anderson's attention to the little details makes it a visual feast. Anyway, (sorry for the little ramble) can't recommend it enough. Such a lovely family film. Thought I'd shoot my shot😅
