Get you some pepermint oil ( bakery section of the grocery), put in a sprayer and add liquid dish soap and water. I live in Maine and we get garden spiders big enough to ride. Spiders dont like the peppermint and it wont hurt your animals.

Moo is a rescue at Lester and his other bull is a Texas Longhorn! Really people! They are not for eating at Lesters! They are pets and working animals! The Beefy Boys will be very tasty! Chad you are giving the beefy boys a wonderful life!

Chad, have you ever used Redmond's salt(garlic)blocks for the goats and steers? Supposedly, it helps to control the flies, etc. Kevin from Hidden Heights farm uses it. The beefy boys are very impressive. My dad raised Angus and we milked holsteins back in the day. I'm with you on not liking spiders, they rank with disliking snakes.I do agree animals are awesome. Great informative vlog.

Lester's Bovine Moo is a Jersey/Holstein and stands about 5'6" or 5'7", he's a tall one for sure. But a gentle giant. You and your Dad have a great love for these animals and it shows! I hate spiders too. Don’t get me wrong, they probably have a good place int the world, God did create them for a reason. I think it's interesting how life takes its turns. 20 yrs ago I was working in a big city, programming and now I'm enjoying life on my little 5 acres. I don't have all the animals that you have. I have guineas & chickens & a great Pyrenees, but I've always been country at heart. I love seeing you, your boys and your dad working on your leased land. It gives me ideas of what I could do on my 5 acres. Keep up the good work!

My hens used to scream so loud when they were laying an egg. I could hear them in the house and it was always my sign that I needed to check the nesting boxes. The first time I heard it I thought one of them was being attacked. 😂

Might treat Batman with life treatment. Out of 20 goats, I had two that had life for sure. Treated them and they stopped scratching. I did treat the rest, just in case. Hogs and dogs can get them too.

I have seen where they put hose on the antlers so they can not get stuck in the fence. Maybe it would work on the scratching.
