I don’t understand what sheikh said? At the beginning he said it’s not allowed if your voting for a legislature at all in muslim lands or in disbelieving lands, but we know these lands the president is called executive branch and he makes laws, same as the legislative branch(congress) makes laws as well, so wouldn’t that be shirk as well and therefore not allowed at all as well? He basically gave a paradoxical answer from my understanding…does the principle in usool Al Fiqh « necessities removes the prohibitions » when it comes to voting even if your giving Allahs right to a Kafir man exist here? Is that what sheikh ruhayli hafizahuAllah is saying?

He was refuted for this fatwaa by various scholars. Previously Imaam Albaanee and Imaam Muqbil rahimahumallaah clarified that these elections harm the Muslims every time. In every election people claim the same thing, that it will help Muslims and avoid the greater evil, and this claim has been disproven time and time. Ikhwanis in America told Muslims to participate in this falsehood, vote for the lesser of two harms, and endorsed Bush, Obama, Clinton and Biden who are were warmongering corrupt shills for the military industrial complex which killed and oppressed countless people, especially Muslims around the world... it isn't possible to participate in a taaghooti system to protect yourself against the same system.
