Every time Himmel appears in the anime, it is very difficult not to feel a bit of nostalgia. What a great character.

Honestly im amazed to how much sentimentality they can put in a character !

@@ChillihNesa we've only seen him onscreen for a few minutes yet it's already easy to accept "It's what Himmel the Hero would have done" as the reason for doing something

It's amazing how this show makes me cry and laugh at the same time.

Much of the manga/animation is freiren thinking about her past & reassessing those memories . And what they mean to her .
@ChillihNesa5 ай бұрын
Well apparently it means a lot to her, since it hits us that deep 🥹

I think you hit the nail on the head with your thoughts at the end. Protaganist: Frieren. Antagonist: Also Freiren. Main Conflict: Freirens relationship w time (specifically when it comes to humans)

Himmel fulfilled his promised to show the flower to Frieren through his statue

The 2nd bottle poured on the grave is the one which Heiter had when he met Fern. Since that day he stopped drinking.

"Can you stop reminding me of that?" Nah....they are going to make it worse and worse.

Something i have not noticed commented upon (and i have watched quiet a number of reactions to episode 2) When a guy opens up about wanting to show you something dear to him, as Himmel did with Frieren, it is a clear indicator of his.... Pretty sure this is not a cultural thing, but a shared trait by men all over. And never saw any reaction vid from females comment on what that signifies.

Hello friends. This anime is incredible. You won't regret watching it. A sweet tip from a Brazilian fan. Do not talk while the characters speak, or pause or wait for silence to speak. During the speeches, pay attention. We want to see your reactions to the events. To do this, you need to understand the dialogues and the plot. Success and peace

Comment only based on what I can pull out of my ass: Judging by the fact that a lot of things in this show are based on dungeons and dragons, my head canon is that heiter used some kind of heal on himself all those years and, when frieren said that she will finish it first, just stopped using it and that's why he collapsed. Again, it's based on nothing, but it's weird that he can heal at some level and he collapsed right after that conversation

Heiter's longer lifespan its probably because on Frieren's world, priest can channel the goddess magic and they receive the goddess blessings.
@ChillihNesa5 ай бұрын
Maybe, and also it would explain why did he live so long despite drinking so much

It's the music. Take that wonderful music away and the scenes lose so much of their impact. Think about that every time you find yourself crying.

Everytime seeing Himmel statue wants to make me cry. If someone rewatch it,you'll get it. Leaving statue all over the world is to make ppl remember the hero party,so she will not be alone in this world
