First off what you are talking about you also forget to add the fact that Urkaine coup was funded by the US in 2014 and they put who they wanted in place causing the deaths of thousands of people and funding and enabling the extremists to gain power, when other regions did not agree with this forgein funded coup (mostly eastern parts) they bombed and shelled them for 8 damn years killing and injuring tens of thousands of people. But no that is not what Putin has talked about, he has been trying to get a European/Russia Security for nearly 10 years now if not longer, they (the EU while being pushed by the US) blew it off and made excuses for Russia not having concerns they could work together to deal with so both parties would be happy and less likely to lead to conflict. Nevermind the several major international agreements Europe and the US has broken with Russia over recent decades.
