Hi, loved ur vid as always😄 A little tip from the nerd here, when you leave the cyclops you can just take out the power cells so the lava larv does'nt drain all the power. it will stop you from being able 2 take in or out ur prawnsuit/ seamoth so take them out before hand. You can still enter teh cyclops just not with a viechle when the power cells are out.

19:15 Yeah get used to them, you’re gonna see those Sea Dragons a lot. Also, you said episode 1 in the title, not episode 16 Also also, you should set up a checkpoint base in the lava zone, as thermal reactors are an active power source. Sure, the locals aren’t the nicest and it looks like the day before my graduation where everything was yellow, but honestly besides that, it’s pretty nice to set up checkpoint there.

bulding a base in the lost river isnt such a good idea for example there is completley no water there and getting a water filtration machine is a meh option beacuse getting power in the lost river is quite a challange and its so deep down that getting to the standard bioems will take like 3 mins of driving. But its your decision fish its your decision. Oh and there is a alien base in the lost river that you didnt find

its only a temporary base im not permanently moving down there, I just think of it as a "Fish was here" type thing

For power, there are thermal vents everywhere, also there's plenty of bladderfish (and gel sacs... :P) near the tree. There are many, many options for food and water, such as an alien containment for raising fish, or growbeds for various plants, etc. In my opinion, the lost river is ideal for a base, since you can find all kinds of resources nearby (especially if you have a prawn with drill). The biggest mistake many players make - myself included - is forgetting to bring seeds for the most common things you can find near the surface, such as acid mushrooms, creepvine, etc, since we get so used to finding them everywhere we don't think about them when planning ahead.

blood oil and gel sacs are great for the bio reactor. i use lantern fruit and bulbo trees to keep my hunger and thirst full. and he still has more exploring to do in the river so hes going to be at that base more often i think. maybe he can use the nuclear reactor for the lava zone base or to upgrade home base.

meh I usually build a little stopover/charging base by the cove tree. it's a nice stopping point. also yeah I hinted at the alien base he missed a video or two ago lol
