Typical corporate story, where a company accidentally hit gold, but couldnt figure out how to recreate the product yet again, so they just blindly try to make something similar over and over again... im sure this 4th attempt would have been scrapped too instead of beeing released btw., if Ubisoft had the money to keep doubling down, but they run out of money and HAD to get something out of this game. they should cancel this AC Shadows and rethink their business strategy, this game WON'T save them!

And you know what? I do not feel sorry for them in the slightest. They did this to themselves and they NEED to hire talented ppl or Ubisoft is cooked, if they're not already.

Black pirates. Ubisoft makes everything black. Rewriting history.
@DisconnisАй бұрын
A lot of the pirates WERE black in reality though - a lot of them were freed slaves
@frankyyaggabot6222Ай бұрын
@@Disconnis Nope - a few pirates were black - very few. It's like Japan - one black person mentioned in a period of Japanese History and suddenly he's the main character in a Japanese themed game. Black people (Niger-Congo, Bantu) were unknown to the Roman World (Nilotes and Cushites weren't) - and all of a sudden they are all over it.
@frankyyaggabot6222Ай бұрын
@@Disconnis A 'few' Pirates were black. In general black people were treated extremely harshly and cruelly by Pirates with many instances recorded of black people being burnt and sunk with the ships that were encountered by Pirates or, enslaved.

The arrogance of these developers is a huge turn off. As soon as I saw QUADRUPLE A GAME, I checked out.

Out of my three failures of the year is between Sweet Baby Inc, Concord, and Ubisoft. But, as much as I believe SBI is #1, the fear of bankruptcy of three big AAA titles is impossible to miss. Great video YF, and this makes me want to play the Peter Jackson King Kong Game. When Ubisoft knew what games were.

what about that prince of persia remake that never got released ..... lol so sad, they just need to remake all their old games with a fresh coat of paint and mechanics and they would be the best company right now

The next flop will be dragon age. They missed up bad with the character customization and now they are saying the previous choice you made in the other games will not be imported into the world. They do know that the only thing that made fans keep playing dragon age was the choice you made to effect the world. They have completely lose my business. It reminds of the mass effect andromeda think previously choices made in game would be able to be important into next game that was the reason I bought the game when I found out it was not going to the case I lose all interest in playing it

This is how you know the ESG money is so good. How else could this company keep the lights on? How can a company lose hundreds of millions, game after game?

No hand-to-hand combat in a Pirate game has the same feel as the line "Good Pirates dont steal from others" from the 'Jake the Pirate' tv show.
