After a couple of days off following the Epic demoulding and Deck Placement day I headed into work with the full intention to take it easy. How wrong I was. Immediately thrust into a plethora of jobs that need to be tackled just to move forward. Check out the inside of our boat as It Looks like a real Catamaran Now.

Who are the same seven people who click dislike? Why just click it and leave? Why not comment? Scared little children maybe? Well, I think what Ross is doing is awesome. This going to be the best cat on the water when it's done. Ross is improving the original design and making it lighter and stronger. Best boat build ever. I wish there was an option for two thumbs up. I would click both of them every single time.

Awesome progress, I have the best memories of Christmas holidays as a child at Bateman bay caravan park. Every year for 10 years my parents would load us 4 up and away for 4 weeks, it’s not until I got my own children that I realised the effort it took Mum and Dad and expense, we were far from wealthy. Great memories may luck continue to come your way but your a hard worker and luck seems to find the ones who put it all in.

Hey Rossco, first comment on the channel: been following from episode 1 (in catch up mode bingeing at 2 - 3 videos at a go). I'm learning a lot from your work ethic and skill its inspiring me in my own ongoing boat projects. About 4 years ago, we had an 11 month refit fixing rot and completing upgrades on our own 11m Pelin Launch so we really can relate to this project. From your mates across the ditch, keep up the awesome work and videos, and just maybe we can have a beer and a feed of crayfish some time if you ever make it over to Auckland. Rosco's best saying - "dont put down - put away" - Im trying mate. PS: Even the wife is loving the channel.

What an amazing couple of sessions seeing the hull and deck come together after such a long time apart. ♥️. Love that Ross... Also those Bloody baseball hats and that little button at the top. As a climber I never let peeps wear a baseball cap under their helmets when climbing - they used to ask why? 🤨 I know how much that hurt when the deck dropped onto that point on your hat/skull (it happened to me long ago - Ouch 🙄).

Hi Ross, have been watching from the start, love your work. I'm currently rebuilding, inside and out, a clothed windspeed. The two most painstaking jobs over The whole project has been the underside of the bridgedeck (which was some basic repairs and minor fairing,) The other area was all of the ceilings, which were a texture single pack poly, textured to hide the minimal fairing after the original construction. Fairing and sanding above head is an absolute ( insert any profanity you wish in this space..........) .I'm not sure where you are up to in real time, but honestly I would be flipping that deck back over to carry out the bulk of your fairing and painting, let gravity be your friend, not your new nemesis. Would love to be a patrion but I'm sure you understand the pennies

You should mount a couple safety lines to the peak of the tent. It may not be rated for the load and might collapse the whole thing but I can guarantee that it would be worth slowing a fall and saving you a crippling injury from sliding off that slippery waxed deck. You've worked too hard to risk everything like that. Be safe. Looking forward to seeing you finish the project 👍

Amazing progress. It does truly look like a catamaran now, with those rough window openings in. Some of your camera views really make it feel like you are walking inside the boat, with a "normal" view through the windows. You are building an awesome boat Ross, and I am building a plane (RV-10). However, your project is at a stage where you could "stand at the helm" and make boat noises, and I am still working with mounds of small aluminum parts that need prep, fitment checks, disassembly, priming, then riveting (and I'm a long way from anything that would let me sit in it and make airplane noises). Same spirit of persistent work required, but you are just much further along, and your progress truly inspires me!! Best regards for continued great milestones!

Boat seems a bit smaller than I originally thought it was. Is it larger than SV basic onboard lifestyle boat?

Teal and Linh's cat is the same length but about a mtr wider than this one. That gives a feel for the size of this boat.Tgis is 12.7mtr x 6 7mtrs so a Seawind 1260 would be the same as this in fact same original designer

@@LifeOnTheHulls I'm sure it's just the camera; just doesn't do it Justice. I've noticed sometimes the boat just absolutely looks Giant and other times just inadequate size for guys like you and I
