It Looks Sad is the alternative rock/dream pop trio fronted by songwriter and vocalist Jimmy Turner. Turner delivers confessional lines with a sense of longing -- for purpose, for a time that once was and for a hopeful future when there's very little hope to cling to. Turner captures the trapped, isolated feeling of our current era with gorgeous imagery, sweeping guitar sounds and muggy textures. I was the same for a while with them, but the more I explored with them, the more I was pleasantly surprised. You might wanna do yourself a favor and check more of their stuff out. I particularly love Nagoya and Radical. Those two songs gave me a much bigger taste than I was expecting.
