It LOVES To Succ - VMax 1200 Filter Kit (Morley Muscle Kit Required)

The first production unit of a 3D printed (Soon to be manufactured otherwise) intake kit that is complimentary to the Morley Muscle Kit utilizing the filter included in the Morley kit. This is a bolt on accessory which utilizes the OEM hardware from your VMax's airbox lid. This offers a much more neat layout for filter installation, and preserves your VMax's OEM airbox lid.

It will require a Dynojet Stage 7 kit and also a full header---vent hoses should be mounted close to the same place to function properly---the vent hoses were designed to flow gas into the airbox so the bike doesn't catch fire when laid over. Probably not a good idea left over the fuel pump and battery.

Great points, and yes this kit is made to compliment the Morley muscle kit as stated in the video. The vent tube relocation is up for debate - only time will tell if it causes issues. Alternatively the vent tubes can be mounted on the forward most cap screws. Regardless of the location - it will not vent fuel into the airbox due to the nature of the filter and entire lid design.

@@thekeitohappiness I have to say I prefer yours to his that uses 1 tube of silicone. His is just a stage 7 Dynojet kit made by Dynojet and a hose that has to be cut with a corrector inserted. GLWS.

Hey man!.. I'm in Canada also.. what filament was used to print those.. is it PLA? Want to order a kit for my '88 Vmax! I also have 5 printers that I use but have not done much of designing STL files.

@@thekeitohappiness I was going to say hahaha.. no way pla will twist like that. But there is always so many different filaments coming out constantly that I wasn't sure... I've done some stuff in TPU but it's usually just a pain in the butt lol.

i just want someone to demonstrate how you wipe out and dent the top of these tanks i just dont see how you do it without totaling the bike out smh

Low side slide, drag bars, bent in when it hit the ground, and touched the faux tank. You can see the slide mark on the right scoop. If anything, I was more totalled than the bike. Permanent scars from that wipe out! Part of riding man. Engine guards did a ton of work. Bikes in perfect riding condition again, only had to swap out a few bits.
