We call that nose rub the”allergic salute”. From the bottom up and very aggressive. Ocean spray nasal lubrication solution was our go to to keep those membranes moist in dryer climates! Hope it can help Abby!!

For dry nostrils, put some Vaseline on a Q-tip and rub it inside each nostril. I know it might be a bit much for Abbie, but it will keep it from drying out to the point of bleeding.

Try a small amount of triple antibiotic ointment on a Q tip and gently place it in Abbie’s nares to help with the dryness. I have dry nares from my meds for asthma and that is what I do and it really seems to help. Someone said use Vaseline, you shouldn’t use it because it has an oil base and can possibly get into her lungs and cause respiratory issues, this comes from a nurse that worked in Pediatric Intensive Care for many years.

Here's a fun fact for you....Scheels was started in the Fargo/Moorhead area which I'm assuming you drove through if you took I94 to I29 when you left St Cloud on your way to SD. They do have amazing fudge!

Just a tip. For Abbies dry nose try saline nasal spray. It really does help. I have a problem with dry nasal passages and I buy nasal saline at any store that carries OTC medications. Is there a way that you can get a new iPad for her while on your travels and download her TD app onto it when you have wifi available? I know it would be a pain but was just wondering. Whoohooo Abbie getting Chipolte!!!!!

Our first “shake down” camping trip in our RV we made the awning rookie mistake too m except it was overnight while we slept. Unbeknownst to us (another rookie mistake - not checking the forecast before bed ). Gale force winds came in at 2am and shredded our awning- that was a $1200 mistake we won’t make again! Do y’all turn the water off when you leave the RV for the day? We just started doing it because over memorial weekend while we were at the campground pool for 4 hours our toilet lever got stuck in the on position and added water the entire 4 hours. We came back to a flooded camper and campsite. Not fun. So now anytime we leave we shut the water off.

As far as Abbies dry nose. You can take a qtip with Vaseline or antibiotic ointment and swirl it around inside her nose. We have to do that in the winter and it works great.

When you come to Michigan come in summer and go directly to Frankenmuth Michigan they have two RV parks one in town and one out of town spend at least three days to enjoy their festivals their stores and their restaurants there are a lot of options to sit outside to eat so ceilings would not be a problem for Abigail just south of town is a big Christmas store Priscilla would love that store and all the other shops that are in town with

Iced towels (in freezer then lay on dog) cooling mats but may be sold out Stay indoors with fan on, windows and curtains shut. Walk only if cool enough eg very early morning.

I watch a couple that use the chest straps for go pro. They don't act like ever notice they are wearing it. They are a thrifting and resales for channel so it 1000% comes in handy for them trying to shop yards sales and stuff and be hands free.
