As soon as krrik survived the turn cycle I knew it was over. I own a krrik deck and it's a kill on sight card everytime

best way to get tons of mana is mana geyser-> increasing vengeance, let the copy resolve to give u enough mana to flashback the increasing vengeance while original mana geyser is still on the stack and now you’ve successfully cast 4 mana geysers

The creature getting the counters from Ruinous Intrusion is also targeted and must be announced together with the target that's about to be exiled. Nick probably intended the counters to go to Kosei, so they shouldn't have gone anywhere else.

The Atraxa deck was Myojin-based, it's all divinity counters. Neat if it gets going, but flimsy. Rootweaver druid has since come out of the deck :)

isn't Cathartic Reunion kind of a terrible card to play with Krark, since you still have to discard two even if you lose his flip? living dangerously, i guess.

Turn 4: bad sequencing mudstah. Play urborg then signet then chromatic lantern. Now you have an open mana and an untapped wayfarer on your opponents turn to search a free land when they play one.

Em Jae had a Mono Green deck that did some degenerate things on a recent video and here's a Mono Black deck doing more degenerate things. Wonderful stuff. You can't let K'rrik survive. This is mono black good stuff EDH.dek I've seen it so many times. Every single Mono black deck is typically just the same pile of cards with a different commander and K'rrik in the 99 and Gary.

Mono black decks are my favorite literally soo much utility, grave yard play, tutoring, life drain, life points as a resource. Best mono color out there 💯

Krark is terrible without the Thumb or Sakashima... 50% chance of resolving the spell is too low. I want to see that Acererak list... 😢

I am in agreement. Krark is "Win More, Lose Big" instead "Win" in this scenario. Even if you get the copy of Mana Geyser/Will, you will still have a 50% chance to bounce the following big spell you cast off all those big mana.

There were 2 cabal coffers so removing the Urborg was hurting both, it was a kinda smart move i think

I don't think hedron archive is that bad. I don't play it personally right now, but when I built a deck from stuff hanging around it might make the first cut on a deck I wanna try out before investing in.

Rootweaver Druid is bad because it relies on the opponents being mana-starved, but what exactly is wrong with Hedron Archive?
