Fellow Legends, welcome! Today we dive into the sequel to the Large Scale Halo PvP video with another excellent video by RubixRaptor. Arma 3 continues to look like an absolute blast and RubixRaptor and the entirety of Ignis Corps looks like they're having a grand time. I absolutely loved watching this, and can't wait to see any more Arma 3 Halo videos he puts out. Protecting the vip: Army: set up defences, protect until extraction. Navy: get on boat and leave. Marines: go on offense becomeing a nightmare as they return to monke. Airforce: carpetbomb opfor. Coastguard: snort illegal substances, get on boat and leave. Spaceforce: watch from satellite as the VIP gets captured.

The Coastguard memes are amazing. I actually don't think I know anyone from the Coastguard, so I just didn't have that exposure to that side of the service.

@@KipReacts coastguard in a nutshell is marine military police with hot rodded patrol boats and m2s. They spend most of their time busting drug subs and search and rescue

@@KipReacts btw, if you haven't already, you should check out USAF special warfare. Especially AF PJs. Think spec ops doc parajumping behind enemy lines to find and extract your bleeding carcass home lol

2:13 You were able to fire your primary from the side positions in Halo 3. Notably during the mission that has you flying from tower to tower ending with the Flood showing up. You would only see this in 4 player co-op or multiplayer if the pilot waited, which was never.

That would be why. I rarely had enough people to play Halo 3 4-Player Co-Op. Good to know it was a feature though!

You could also shoot from the back of a pelican in Halo CE. Edit: Side note you could also get back into one of them and ride out of the map before being killed by a barrier, or if you're lucky get passed the barrier and explore a little bit of the bottom of the map.

@@KipReactsA more direct note, you could also just ride on one of the Hornet's in the Hornet mission and one of the npc pilot's will fly you to and from objectives. That pilot will even pick you up to fight the scarabs and directly drop you off on them and help you get off them.

2:18 I mean 'Hog, 'Goose, Revenant, Hornet, and Specter passengers can. Also Player ODSTs in Halo 3 ODST can ride on the sides of a Scorpion and fire.

@@KipReacts The hard part about riding on a Scorpion in ODST is that you need either another player to drive it or you need the AI to drive it, otherwise the seats are unavailable.

I remember doing training for Sorensic's Halo unit in Arma, and I was going through the Armor course with two other dudes. The trainer took position in my tank for the training course, and when he had us repel a 'simulated' armored attack upon our two tank unit, he sent this IFV running full tilt down the road (as Zeus you can remotely control units, which is what he did with this one). He told me to engage it... I followed the road it was on and fired through a set of bamboo reeds, not even sure I hit the IFV as I was leading it pretty heavily and more vehicles showed up to tickle my tank. When we were debriefing, he told me I nailed the IFV dead center through the reeds and was wondering how the hell I did it. I said War Thunder was a hell of a training tool.
