4:52 those are what we in the industry call "jungle mags". Essentially 2 mags taped together for quick reloads, made popular during the Vietnam War. Also, STALKER is pure kino

5:38 regarding the magazines, they just tape two together, so you can flip it around and slap a fresh mag in

Yeah, BTRs are horribly cramped. The Soviet Union had a nasty habit of making everything it possibly could amphibious, and there's two main ways to do that. You make the vehicle really big so it displaces enough water to still carry a reasonable amount of armor, which is what the US does when it makes amphibious vehicles... or you give it paper thin armor based on the theory that smaller vehicle means smaller target. The Soviet Union followed the latter school of thought, and I don't think there's a single Soviet made amphibious vehicle where passengers have enough room to even sit without hunching their backs.

It's not a nasty habit when you consider the context of the battlefield these vehicles would operate in Most of the fighting would be the Europe and places like Germany and guess what you what you will see a lot ? RIVERS A LOT OF RIVERS So if you can get a intre motor rifle platoon or tank battalion across a river without needing to wait for the engineering elements to set up a pontoon bridge and that is a big advantage

True tho unfortunately for many poor souls these amphibious armored transports suffered from frequent malfunctions oftentimes happening whilst crossing bodies of water resulting in numerous deaths as the soldiers inside became unable to escape and drowned.
@robingrewal810310 ай бұрын
@@raymurray3401 this is not something that only happens to Soviet vehicles example a while ago A aav7 sank and everyone inside drowned Piont is context is everything and even more so for military equipment

So fun fact: Duty as a faction in STALKER are known for preferring Warsaw Pact (Eastern European) weapons, whereas their opposite, Freedom, prefers NATO (Western) weapons

The only game with an whistling rpg sound I know of off the top of my head is the N64 version of 007 goldeneye. Which was more of an attempt within system limitations I think Goldeneye's sfx can be found on KZbin if you want to check it for yourself.

14:34 So, the "noodle round" is the fragmentation warhead for the RPG. He's calling it that cause it is hilariously thin compared to the usual warheads you see.

One of the many reasons why I love this content, it doesn’t matter what is on screen, in one or another, Kip will find something, SO obscure, from the pits of the Meme culture, and make it funny, it amazes me how he does this, I swear he has seen every meme on the planet

The trench digging is part of the ACE mod addon, not a proper vanilla feature. ACE (Arma Combat Enhanced I believe) is a very common mod in lists because it adds a lot of stuff to Arma for utility sake

Hey Kip, if you plan on reacting to another Rimmy video in the near future, I would heavily reccommend his Harvest Green operation, featuring the real US Army esports team
