I think this is part of some of these women complaining all the time - trauma dumping. They feel uplifted and relieved, but you are left feeling weighed down after every encounter. One time one of these types suddenly got offended in conversation. I dont know what I said and I didn't ask. She said something like I'm not going to talk to you anymore. I didn't stop her. I just said okay and hung up.

This is so true. A former friend called herself cutting me off (again) 6 mos ago, with her last words being "goodbye forever". I immediately blocked her on the multiple numbers she used to call me. Tell me why I must have missed one because she hit me up around the new year with "Hello. I know I'm the last person to be hitting you up. Hope I'm not blocked." Oh no you definitely ARE BLOCKED, I just wasn't as thorough as I intended. Mind you she still owes me money from the many times I rescued her from her own problems and I'm sure she wanted help again. @Priscilla_Boye I am totally in your camp. I ended up emotionally cutting off my friend in November 2024 exactly for the reason discussed in the video. One day I spent 8 hours on the phone (whaaaaaaat?) providing emotional support to my friend. Three days later she texted me repeating the same complaints about her love life that we discussed during those 8 hours. I got annoyed and said that I don't want to know anything about her love-life from now on. And I meant it. This decision took overall a year to brew. And once it was made and I truly stopped caring about what's up with her, (and I meant I truly let it go) three days later I was approached with a business opportunity. The space in my life that was occupied by worries for my friend is now taken by building my business. I am not saying those things are 100% connected. I am saying that timing of events is interesting. So yeah, from now on, I'm not wasting myself on listening to complaints about things a person can but doesn't want to change. Na-ha. I hope, the situation that is unfolding right now (that makes you sleep so much) leads to the best possible scenario of your life!
