That reminds me of one of my first dates 😂 it was not so drastic tho. So they guy said we will go for a walk with his friends, so I imagined some park or so. The walk was in the mountain area (but not yet mountains), I was unprepared, in a fabric top sneakers. It was quite long walk, and he didnt even consider if I can walk this far, he didn't ask how athletic I am or if I have any health issues. I did it, but I did not meet him afterwards. I don't think he was being mean by that, but completely mindless for sure.

When I saw it, I was actually really worried about this girl. Most people these days complain about slight inconveniences but this is not one of those. I actually thought this guy is trying to indirectly injure you or at worst testing if you may die. If you were injured is he going to be with you in hospital, through rehab and after ? The answer is a hard ‘no’ . If you were my kid and this happened. I would be on the first plane out to you and seperate the both of you because he is dangerous and too many things happen to nice kids when they are travelling. This may sound extreme to some of you but when you are a parent it’s your job to protect and guide your children. Letting go is part of parenting also, but this issue of safety overrides that . I asked my husband what his thoughts were to check if I was being paranoid, he said exactly the same thing, you could have been really hurt. I asked if it were his daughter what were his thoughts, his face turned pretty ugly and he said the police probably wouldn’t do anything so we would have to step in. If you cannot trust your safety to the man next you, you cannot trust your future kids to him either. A good rule of thumb is if you wouldn’t recommend a guy or his behaviour to your best friend then you shouldn’t accept them either. Xo I wish you courage, bravery and a bright future ❤️

I HATED working as a cashier. I would be seggssually harrassed literally every single week. Had a guy stalk me for two years, had one follow me home, had an old dirty man try to reach down into my shirt, and had one man tell me he'd like to take me to his bedroom and do "everything" to me. My best guess is he lied and set the date as a walk/ light hike. She was clearly dressed for an active activity but not for what she was actually did. Also it could have been a combination of sunken cost fallacy and that he was her ride. Beyond trying to look cool for him, if she was physically stuck with him until he finished "the hike", she'd be more inclined to try it than wait at a car or trying to find a way back from an unfamiliar place.
