No loud music, no crazy video title in capital letters, no yelling and screaming, just good ol' bass fishing at its finest. Best thing to go with morning coffee.

Sunrise and sunset.....learned that when I was about 10yr old after talking to old-school Musky stalker....back in early 1960s. Older dude would go out in row boat in northern Wisconsin....would row lodge boat, troll drop offs. 2 poles. One pole with live sucker and second pole he casted hand tied bucktail.....every year, would take 2 week vacation....stalk and catch very big Musky.....30 to 40lb class....during day would sit on cabin porch...read or enjoy a pipe....have a spiked lemonade...old-school fishing pro.....I would run to lodge dock when he would row in to boat dock ...amazed by his catches...in two weeks he would catch and release many fish....only keeping one....later, as I developed some skills, I found it is possible to catch fish in the day, ya’ gotta know structure....night fishing , too....

It’s refreshing to find a channel like this. It seems impossible to find a fishing channel nowadays that is actually focused on fishing rather than clickbait. I also love the fact that you don’t scream and overreact to every fish you catch, your channel is so real and I truly appreciate it.

What a morning in the Midwest! Those fish had great acrobatics this day! Classic! It looked like you were throwing a top water bait in the middle of the lake but you explained the structure underneath. Wondered why there weren’t 100 other boats out on a morning like that. Great stuff!

Matt, Another gem. I covet that top water bite. Only 2 fish caught on top water so far this year. In my local river the grass is mature and starting to break up so I think this should be ideal top water conditions. Bank fishing this year exclusively so I can not get too far outside the grass line. Caught a nice smallie the other night on top of the water on a weightless worm as soon as it hit the water. I want to catch a fish on a Spook and Pop’r. I miss that action. The fish will only bite the weightless plastic worm this year. We have to listen to what the fish want. I will keep trying the top water anyway.

The Fish Whisperer! Love these videos. Assume a top water lures like the Spook helps you avoid weeds? I was yak fishing yesterday (here in Ontario) and the amount of weeds in any lake at this time of year just make any single hook reeling a chore - let alone treb hooks. No weeds in your parts?
@ndyakangler4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! That’s one reason why I like throwing topwater lures, I can work them over weeds without getting hung up. I can also cover a lot of water quick with lures like the Spook and Whopper Plopper. This lake wasn’t that weedy at all, others in the area are pretty thick with weeds. It all depends on how fertile the lake is and what the bottom composition is like.

It’s been so hot here in Texas that at that time in the early morning, I’m already worming. 😂😂
