I’m as diehard of a Notre Dame fan as you’ll find, but mad respect to the U for their impact on college football. It is true that they introduced the modern style of how football is played today from the smash and dive style of the 80s to a game where athletes have offenses built around them to showcase their talents Don’t believe me? Just look at some of the pros highlighted in this vid

I think we lost a little bit of SWAG when the Orange Bowl went down. That was Hurricanes home, it was none like it. Shame what stands there now. I went to a Marlins Baseball game and was highly upset knowing this was where the 🙌🏾 handled business

For once in their lives, they did something that was constructive making college football history winning five National Championships, really the should've won at least seven had not the refs and the NCAA cheating Miami out of at least two National Championships! (2000 and 2002) I'm still bitter about that!

The city of Miami destroyed the OB for personal gain, and in the end sold out the city, the fans, and especially the zurrounding area of the BOWL. Shame on them even over 20 years later. The fact they could not incorporate the Miami Hurricanes football team, which made them tons of money off, to continue playing there was a power grab to bring in the 2k spectator average for the Marlins. Again. Shameful. Miami History continues to get bulldozed
