The media was wrong on so many levels for disrespecting Sean Taylor, his family, friends and his fans. The U is clearly a brotherhood and I wish them success. I was born in the early 80s and they were the best team when I first started following college football in the 1989 season. I had the privilege of seeing both Sean Taylor and Santana Moss in an NFL game. They both had great performances vs the 49ers in October 2005. I was in the Army and stationed in Virginia, so a buddy of mine (from Fort Lauderdale) went up to Fed Ex to watch a Redskins game. Sean Taylor intercepted Alex Smith, Santana Moss scored at least one touchdown and a rookie Frank Gore scored a late TD for San Francisco.

You should never judge a person on how they look or how they dress or whatever the circumstance. People judge just like that. I never meet the young man but you can tell he was raised right by his mom and hada great family. He just wanted his family together and to take care of his mom and everybody. Plus he had a beautiful cuban woman that was his soulmate and those two belong together forever as well as a beautiful daughter they had together. But evil had to come along and break that dream for his relationship with his girlfriend and to have more children and spend the rest of their life together as well with his mom and siblings. I'm a 49er fan and I think Ronnie Lott is the best safety ever but you take him out of the equation. Sean Taylor would be the best safety ever not even close

Vilma and the other hurricanes have a lot of nerve crying about how they are prejudged in general. Every player, past, present and future, that habitually taunts, trash talks, hits a rival player late, out of bounds, or unnecessarily roughs while wearing the team uniform represents ALL players, past, present and future. Turn down the volume on the "ghettometer" or The A.L.A.N (Act like a N...) and just maybe people wouldn't think of their players that way.
