Ernie Clement NEEDS to play. I see big comparisons to Jose Bautista. Late bloomers, coming around at the same age, Jays need a 3b and is exactly why JPR rolled the dice on Jose. He needs to be in there everyday and has earned it to be in there at 3b. He can hit, play D, has the arm and accuracy, and is a gamer ready to go. I get having players who can fit into different positions, but it is not an advantage when most guys can't get 3-4 games in a row of playing time w/o sitting and or shifting to another position. The luxury is there when you need it, Jays over use it and it's hard for most players to get a rhythm. - you can be ready, but you also need some kind of consistency. This weekend alone has seen 3 lineup changes in 4 games. It's like little league. Varsho is NOT a 5th hitter. IKF and Schneider on the bench. Biggio 2b and Clement 3b and watch him turn into the next version of JoeyBatts - only his style of productivity. Batting order: 1. Bichette 2. VGJ 3. Turner (DH) 4. Springer 5. Clement 6. Kirk/Jensen 7. Varsho 8. KK 9. Biggio A least 17 games out every 20 - its baseball!!!!
