As expected, Laviolette has taken Rempe out of the lineup, and this Rangers team has gone completely soft. Outside of a Kreider hat trick in the 3rd and a lucky deflection by Panarin, this team has been overmatched by their opponent. No urgency, no desperation, just skating around the outside all night, and no wanting to work or play physical. This will be a sweep if Laviolette doesn't wake up and put Rempe back in.

@@paulthompson8793 when he's in the lineup they are 6-1 in the playoffs. When he's not they are 2-2 so far. When he's in the lineup he brings a level of aggressive play that the crowd feeds off of and the team responds to. This was a soft performance by the team tonight.

@@edd06001 Still probably want to keep Rempe out of line-up. He costs them too many penalties and will not fight when he lays 3 dirty hits a game. Never a good idea to be costing your team games when you want to be a little extra tough. Rangers still win 5 of those 6 games if not all 6 if Rempe's out of the line-up. Pretty sure he played the whole Capitals series and half the Canes series, really not that impressive when you put it that way now lol.

Panthers defense was solid all night and when they weren't, Bob was there. Would be helpful if Rangers could score the first goal for a change. Also Fox is clearly playing injured. Laviolette should make Miller-Trouba the top D pairing next game. Maybe consider putting Zac Jones in the lineup depending on how game 2 goes.
