You can take the Airport shuttle from PIT to Greenfield. From there, you can walk to Squirrel Hill and take the 61C directly to Kennywood’s staff parking lot. There is then a short walk to the entrance, if you were wondering about public transit.

Great video! I've been going to Kennywood since I was a kid, and I had the privilege of going to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, in 2015, with the American Coaster Enthusiasts! I definitely agree with your statement regarding the similarities between the two parks. While the two parks are VERY different from one another, they have a very similar theme and atmosphere to them. Also, The Big One quickly cracked my top-five favorite steel coasters. Please feel free to lemme know if/when you're coming to the park again, and maybe we can meet up. BTW, fun fact: The Thunderbolt actually opened in 1968. When the coaster first opened in the 1920s, it was known as The Pippin and had a considerably different layout. The park basically did the same thing to The Pippin that they would later do to the Steel Phantom, and transformed it into the Thunderbolt by keeping its signature drops while giving it a new layout. The Pippin WAS designed by John A. Miller, but the Thunderbolt was designed by Andy Vettel.

Thank You! Kenny wood is an amazing Park in my opinion it is the Best! Thanks for understanding whats going on with Kenny wood a lot of people just viciously attack it and don't understand, but i understood, I was a bit upset, but I understood, and can't wait to go a record amount of times for me this year! There is, at least hear in America, No Park like Kenny wood! BTW they have amazing Holiday events at Kenny wood like Phantom Fright Nights you should check it out one day! I’m curious if you got to see Leo the Paper Eating Lion? From the photos I have seen at Blackpool Beach, they used to have a Porky the Paper Eater- Leo’s friend who lived in a mushroom and ate rubbish right from your hand. Butlins also had Porkys starting around 1965. Now that I think about it, Blackpool May have had the tiger and another animal- inspired by Porky.

Don't know if you heard that new management is taking out a number of older rides :( The Kangaroo, Paratrooper, Bayern Kurve and Volcano. The first two in particular are very old and rare. The other two are more mid century-1970sish.
