She is able to blend her jazz ability with her soulful side, and with the range she commands excellence in, from low to medium, all the way up the scale to 'super' high registers, it is truly mind boggling. We can't lose sight of the fact that she is, taking to another level, a signature song of The Godfather Of Soul (James Brown) that people would never have thought been possible. Put her in The Apollo Theater and a 'Standing Ovation' would be coming from the toughest 'Black' soul song critics on the planet. Her versatility in multiple genres is something no other artist has ever been able to match.

The members of the band love her AND respect her for her creepy sense in music. She worked with them some time and the conductor cooperated with her. Awesome reaction Shakes! Thanks for this. What I love most about this performance of hers is that she is absolutely blasting and belting but it looks completely effortless to her. This concert was part of a summer concert tour she did with the Norwegian Military Staff band to promote the 16-song album called "It's Magic", that they collaborated with Angelina on. She did a lot of work with this group. There are many videos out there of their rehearsals where you can see Angelina as a completely composed and professional artist collaborating with the conductor on changes and adjustments to the arrangements. At the age of 12 she was already a 5-year veteran of live performances across the globe (Singapore, UK, South Korea, Japan, US, Germany, Norway, Sweden).

I went back and viewed your reaction to Diana Ankudinova’s cover of this song and I must admit, I had to remind myself that it was the same song. The difference between these two is one is a phenomenal singer and the other is a phenomenal artist and singer whose music comes from her soul, not from her mouth. She reminds me a lot of the King of Rock and Roll, and you asked when you first heard her, “how does someone that young have so much soul”? Do you believe in reincarnation? Elvis, Billie Holliday, Etta James, gone too soon but back in the form of this Angel who has been given to the world in these most horrible of times. I think her version of “My Funny Valentine” is the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. I’m 74 years old and have stage IV Cancer and all I want is to live long enough to see Angelina become the success that she desires. I keep looking for new TikTok posts but I guess she’s working on her album with Republic, but at least she’s posting on Instagram so we can see what an incredibly beautiful young lady she is becoming. Beautiful inside, beautiful outside, beautiful talent, beautiful family, maybe she can wear off on the world around her!

She was 12. Her birthday is Jan. 10, 2006. This orchestra every year puts out an album with various artists singing or playing with them. This is their big fund raising vehicle for the year. I think it was the year following 2018 that the entire orchestra voted to feature just Angelina as the guest artist. It was the first and only time they have featured a single artist. I've never said that Angelina isn't one of the finest young vocalists on the planet. But I do have my favorite. I have said my top five are separated by the thinnest of margins. So when I say Morissette is the best female vocalist on the planet, I mean just that. That isn't the same as my favorite. That distinction rests with another young singer from Kazakhstan, who will remain unnamed. Angelina is going to be what she has always wanted to be a Superstar and she will deserve it too. She has a tremendous work ethic and an incredibly strong sense of responsibility. These go along with a crazy amount talent. And I also tear up when she sings. I mean who doesn't. Well time to go. Something for you to go back and take a look at: Notice the reaction of the two clarinet players closest to her when she belts out the first couple notes. They have undoubtedly rehearsed this many time with her, yet they they are amazed with what she just brought. You are one of the few reactors to really notice when she goes into a repetitive riff at full belt and the conductor leans back like he has just been hit with a shock wave. Ohhh yeah, I finally got to this one. I love this performance! There is another where she does it with a small band as a live concert, but I personally prefer this version over that one. Great reaction - Here Angelina is totally in the groove - the 1st Clarinet player is giving it some attitude, so it's as though Angelina climbed above that sound and leapt into the air to overcome it - just absolutely fearless and relaxed - that should not be possible...
