This is frankly a disgusting title for this news. Saudi Arabia has LOTS of passion for football and have never hosted a world cup. Their team beat Argentina in the 2022 WC remember? They deserve to host the tournament if there is an audience and the quality of players are top 40 in the world. If Qatar never hosted in 2022, people would still find a way to dislike that Saudi Arabia is hosting the event due to anti-Arab bias. It's sad but unquestionably true over the last 100 years. Football is growing in the middle east like Formula One and let's be honest, the 2022 WC was enjoyable for many people around the world and blew expectations away from how people initially felt going into the tournement. If another Middle Eastern country hosts the world cup in 2038 or 2042, then I can see people having issues seeing 3 of last 6 (2022, 2034 and let's say 2042) are given to countries located in a similar geopgrahical area, but then again football is proudly an international sport with BILLIONS of followers and their is an audience as expected.
